I WON! I can't believe it!

I WON!! I still can't believe it! I got a call today from Rebecca at CK telling me I won their Ad Trivia contest and I will be getting $350.00 worth of scrapbook supplies!!!! :) The only down side is they said it won't get here for about 3 weeks! :( I am SO excited! They said that I will get a little something from each company that's name or ad was in the contest! This is SO cool! THe company's are: Northern Spy, Pioneer, Mambi, SRM, Carl, Hot Off the Press, Accucut, Generations, O'Scrap, J. P. Whimsey, stickopotamus, Zip Art, Club Scrap, Highsmith, K and C Company, Lasting Impressions, Rainbow Papers, Frances Meyer, KMA, Paper Adventures, Stampin Up, Mrs. Grossmans, Ellison's, C-Line, Creative Trends, Alaphabet Soup, Vintage Inks, Cockadoddle, Paper Patch, Provo Craft, Deja Views, EK Success, Cropper Hopper, CTMH, Undo, Lasting Impressions, Archival Mist, and Keep A Memory, I think that is all of them. Whew! I am going to have a BLAST! I guess God knew I wasn't going to be able to afford anything new for a long time since I had to help my daughter get a new to her car. Penny

Hello all, I am a newbie, living in western ,NY, don't know the zone,sorry. first time in cottage gardens. I just had to write, because I was just watering the Lemon Balm I bought last week , it is in a pot in my garden window and I thought to myself, I should plant that outside !! ..haha i am so glad i came on here. I am finally getting my back yard to use for growing plants and for letting the wild things grow:) Before with 4 very sport minded kids it was a basketball court and vollyball court, now I have let part of the wetlands grow as it likes ... we keep it mowed in a manageable size, well I think we will be able to manage it. I also let some of my woody are grow free and now I have wild rasberries I think? and lots of stuff I don't know what they are. I also threw some cosmos seeds and other seeds my mum brought me over from england. so I will be back here with pictures for help, as soon as i can figure out how to work my new digatal camera, and upload picture, i am a newbie at everything, I guess my garden life begins at 6o:) Oh I have one queation, I have a bush/tree tha that what looks like golfballs on it, does anybody know what it could be, if they had a nike mark on them I would use them.. 24 inch ovens --I can't believe I'm thinking this . . .

dixiedarlin1, Thanks so much for posting. I really appreciate this information. I am wondering, though, whether the 24 inch oven got the new fan and thermostat. It is Architect I not Architect II. Did they cut the fix into the older line as well as the new line? 24 inch models seem like low priority among all the American brands. If you have any more information especially about the KEB 147VSS 24 inch oven I would love to hear.

Dearheart, there is nothing that cannot be fixed. It's just a question of how many $$$$. I have a Koehler "Hawthorne" cast iron farm sink. It's 150lbs, Roussalain red. It sat on my garage floor for 2 years. (Thank you, my STBX) A floor that was flooded several times when the water softener overflowed, condensation, etc. By the time I got it installed the underside was rusting & the bowl had kind of a slice in it. I called Koehler to ask what I could do to seal the underside, knowing the scratch was our own fault. They had no touch-up kits anymore, but they could replace the sink. This is built into only counter I have & I can't take that out. They sent me a whole new sink. I have it in the barn. You never know. They might send you a whole new face panel! Good luck. Christine

I can't believe I forgot to figure out where to store a step stool

cpartist why would you want to run all the way to the garage to get a step stool Thank you, Claire. The door to the garage is right next to my kitchen so no running. And I live in FL so it's not like it's a problem with cold air. Heat yes. Cold no. There is a space right next to the steps that lead down for a hook on the wall for the step stool. It's really not an issue as I had thought it might be. cpartist does this tall cabinet actually exist in the kitchen where you are able to add a bar above cabinets and have the ladder tucked away when it’s not in use. Yes it does but as noted in the drawing that is a wall up against it. Plus there is no room. Also my kitchen is mostly finished. The cabinet peeking out on the left below is the cabinet you circled. The wall next to it juts out 24" to frame in the nook with the buffet. To the right of the buffet is the door to the garage.

The contest was on page 151 of the July/August issue but a copy of it is online at CK. You had to match the ad up with the right company or product. It was really easy since they gave you the page # it was on, but it was pretty time consuming, since I did it on my lunch breaks from work and I didn't have much time to do it, so it took me 3 days. LOL I think this is just super! I will be sure and let you know what I got if someone will dig me out of the box when it gets here. LOL Penny
