Kalidoscope scrapbook pages

Recently I was looking through a scrapbooking magazine and saw a beautiful scrapbook page that looked like a kalidoscope. I have been trying for weeks no to find directions on-line about how to make a similar page but I haven't found any yet. Does any one know where I can find directions or how to make this kind of page? PLMK. Thanks!

I am pretty sure that www.dmarie.com had those directions. You have to have your film developed in a special way or use scanned images from your computer in order to do the pages though. What you have to do is have 6 sets of the same photo made, with 3 of the photos images flipped, meaning they put the image on the oppisite side of the photo, so that when you mount them they are together. Clear as mud! LOL Penny

Graceful Bee has a lot of different instructions. I don't know if they have these though. A friend just sent me the book, I'm trying to pick the picture I want to have made to use on it. They look so great when they are finished!

Krikit, everything is done on the computer. Digital Scrapbooking is scrapbooking using a graphics based program. Most computer scrapbookers use Microsoft Picture It!, Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. I use Microsoft Picture It!, it is a very easy program to learn. A lot of peole do print out their work and put them in albums, but I just put my work on cd's to be looked at on the computer. http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/ is where I first learned about digital scrapping. I get a lot of ideas and download lots of freebie stuff there. Check it out.

You might find out what her interests are, hobbies, culture etc. Is she interested in nature, decorating, traveling? Start listing some of these and you will get more than enough ideas to fill a page. Also look at the Memory scrapbooking magazine. That one has a ton of good ideas.

There is a book available at scrapbook stores. I think it is bu CK. It is totally about making photo kaleidoscopes. I made one and it turned out great. If you can't find the info, let me know and maybe I can photocopy some instructions out of my book and send to you.
