scrapbook pages-HELP!

I am new to scrapbooking & I am ready to start some pages. I want to use some clip art books I have to put onto my pages. Do I: 1) trace the images onto the paper with a lightbox using an acid-free pen, 2) can I photocopy them onto my acid-free paper 3) do I scan them with my PC scanner onto acid-free paper-& do I need acid free printer ink? What do all of you suggest & which is the easiest & most economical method? I have a lot of clip art that I would love to use in my children's memory books. Thanks so much! :>)

Any information for a beginner would be GREATLY appreciated.

Scanning and printing off on your computer is the easist / Cheapest way to do this. A lot of people say that they don't like to use the ink from a computer printer because it is not color fast, but unless you plan on spilling water all over your pages or leaving them in direct sun for days on end the computer ink from a printer is fine. Remember to use acid free paper in the printer though. Penny

But is it safe to use pages that you print from your computer??? I am just barely getting started in with scrapbooking (I have some supplies but haven't sat down to actually put a page together) but I thought you had to have acid free and I was told so far there isn't any acid free ink for computers.
