Got my Swap Stuff!!

I got my pkg yesterday from Lisa. She sent me some lovely 8x10 patterened paper with co-ordinating cardstock. One in particular was autumn leaves--how did she know I love taking picures of my kids in the leaves in the fall? It's just PERFECT paper! Also, I got a sticker with a snowman on it, which is also too perfect, as I've taken a picture of every snowman my kids have ever made.

I got a bunch more stuff, but I won't bore you with details; I want to hear what you guys got.

This was fun; count me in on the next one!

WOW, Canada Post surprises me. Got my trade from Kelly today, love everything. She sent me sunflower papers, pansy papers, variety of stickers (flowers, bugs, butterflies), punches (sunflowers, maple leaves, oak leaves). I am sure there is other that I am missing, but I love everything.

Also wanted to thank Kelly for getting me my Blocky template. I will put it to good use.

I love this swap thing, keep em coming.

I got my swap package from Janet and it was filled with lots of great stickers and die cuts. She actually found some terrific hot air balloon stickers which I had been searching for and couldn't find. Thanks Janet!

Boy, kathyjb, I would have liked to have been with you! Awesome finds and just the kind of GJ I look for! Your DH created a start of something wonderful for you with that pump and disc ... are you going to paint it "barn red" or leave as is? You might like a big galvanized tub located under the spout and put your pump in it & tubing up thru the hole. I agree the disc would make a great bdfdr! Great saves! My DH makes grate tables when we can find them...I have one between my washer & dryer...very sturdy! And I envy the table legs you found...here's we used shutters and split a tableleg... shutter bdhse: Have fun with your creations! Thanks for sharing the pics! Jeanne S.

I'm so glad you liked the package, Diana. It was as much a treat for me to present it to you in person. In the package was some coffee that Diana drinks (I found out about this on an older post). It turns out the coffee she likes is packaged right here in RI. Jessica tipped me off by letting me know Diana likes salts. Although I've never tried these salts, they just seemed so interesting with flavors I saw from other posts Diana liked. When I saw they were going to Penzy's together a couple of weeks ago, I decided to ask Jessy to spy for me to see what she'd like. (Thank you again, Jessy!!!) There were also some kitchen utensils and towels that matched her adorable kitchen. Rather than present it to her in a box, I put everything in a tote bag to make travel back to CA a little easier. The tote bag had slots in it for pictures. Diana is an incredible photographer, so hopefully this will get some good use. Diana, I was so happy to meet your in person. I hope you enjoy your package. Have a safe trip back home!

Okay I am going to go ahead and admit this. My niece and nephew were away on the 4th with their dad, so I didn't go anywhere to take pictures. However they are going to be here this weekend, and since my boyfriend works in a fireworks store (can you tell where I'm headed here) we are going to have a fake 4th of July, where I can take photos of the kids and the fireworks. LOL Cheating I know, but I couldn't help myself. Also Alison and I have already swapped and she sent me a BUNCH of goodies, so since I didn't have much 4th of July stuff I am afraid that I am going to have to send her another small package to makeup for her kindness. I got my stuff from Pam last week. WOW!! What a GREAT package she sent out! It was SOOOO full - lots of paper, die cuts, stickers, frames, you name it. I can't get over how much stuff she sent. I sorted it all out last night for the crop I'm going to tonight. I can't wait to start using it.

I got my package from Penny. WOW - it was huge! She sent perfect papers, stickers etc. for a whale watch we went on and the fourth of July. She also put in Velum in every color under the rainbow--can't wait to try it. THANK YOU PENNY!
