theme of the next swap idea

Kris i guess this is for you. What do you think about a halloween/ thanksgiving themed swap??? There are some many cute papers, stickers,and diecuts for these two holidays. Just an idea. i have loved all the swaps so far.

Sounds like a cute idea! I will participate again! I sent my things and I am waiting for the goodies I am getting! My partner and I had a late start! :)

That Halloween / Thanksgivng swap sounds like a cute idea, I don't have hardly any Thanksgiving paper and would love some. I also would like to do a ocean/fishing/boating swap sometime too, since I have a ton of pictures of that theme. Penny

Plantaholics, I'm sorry this didn't turn out the way you had planned. Maybe drippy will be back to do this swap the same way as in the past next time. If you change your mind, we will be happy to have you join in. I have a questionnaire and instruction sheet ready for the participants. I am going to start to e-mail them this evening but not all will get mailed out today. I will continue with them through the weekend, but if you don't have them by Monday (or can't read what is sent - I am sending them as a Word document), get in touch with me. Okay? Once you get everything, follow the instructions and you can start to send seeds whenever you are ready. Hope we all have lots of fun. The nicest people seem to participate in this swap!!! Jeanne

Happy New Year Swappers! It's going to be a good one :) Drippy, that compost can be used to fill in any holes you make from the plants you can't part with! I would have to sell in the winter when my yard is covered with snow. I think most would be scared off when they realized I prefer to weed than mow lol! Plantaholics - those pics are beautiful! I initially wanted an all blue garden but ended up with purples. I had many, many disappointments in the beginning because as we know, so many things are labeled blue but bloom purple! I picked a poppy to share with everyone this year for the wish swaps just as a "thank you" to all. I know a lot of time and thought goes into these (and frustration when you can't find a match for someone!). I certainly appreciate everyone's efforts because it takes all of us to make this work for the whole group. Much thanks to Drippy for making it all happen! I'll link the poppy picture below. It's the Papaver paeoniflorum "White Cloud" peony poppy. It's white so should fit in most anywhere. I haven't seen it distributed in any of the group robins I've joined. With the way they seed, they should be in circulation next year and then on to the newbies! Some of you were in susie's swap so you've already gotten a little packet. Be on the lookout for Toad Flax, Linaria reticulata "flamenco". Write that down 'cause that's a lot to copy on all of the packets! It's more common but quite a eye catcher. Just checking in here, Tammy not sure if you got my 3 emails since you mentioned you are not always getting your emails, I did get 1 email response back that you were going to get back with me, so posting here hoping you will see this. I sent you 7.00 for return postage containing 125 packets and your return postage to me was $2.85 with 86 packets back. Thus I am due some change. Very curious as to why some folks didnt add their names to their packets (Heidi, love love love your seed packets! you sent so many, they are even double stacked, LOL (the ones on the right with the super cute packaging) wow! thank you thank you =) Would have loved to know who seeds are from so if I have a question I know who to ask =) gosh, Maggie yours look great! OH Tammy just wanted to make sure you got the calendar I included for you? Hope you found it, the weather radio just went off with severe storms so must get off here.

Sorry I didn't get on here right away. I just started a new job on Monday (in a garden center!!) and when I got home Monday evening my seeds were waiting for me. I got to agree with those that said this was the best theme swap yet! My envelope was bulging! I got so many nice seeds and can't wait to start planting them all. I've already planted a couple, lol. I was blown away by the selection of herbs, I believe I got one of just about every herb there is, to the point that while I originally just planned on tucking them in here and there, I've now decided to do a raised bed garden just for herbs! Thanks to everyone that sent seeds, and especially to Tammy for hosting. It was a great swap!

That sounds good to me only I may have to negotiate with my swap partner for more fall/autumn related stuff. And Penny's idea for ocean/fishing etc is great too.

It would be nice to do a Thanksgiving theme swap because this will be our first Thanksgiving as a married couple. (smile)

I think the Halloween/Thanksgiving theme would be fun! Right now the stores have a lot available in these themes also.

I love the Halloween/T-giving/Fall theme for a swap. I'm new to the swap thing. Just wondering what you guys did las time. I'd love a back to school or school days related swap. Thought it kinda goes with fall also.
