Michael's punch sale

Heads up ladies, rumor has it that Michael's has all of their punches on sale for 50% off starting this Sunday for I think a week. They also have another 40 % off coupon in this sale flyer but remember you cannot use the coupon for sale items. Since this is my birthday week I see some punches headed my way, even if I have to give them to myself. LOL Penny

The rumor is true. Just got my add in the paper. Lots of other scrapping stuff on sale too. Guess I know where I'm going tomorrow.

They have them at the PBG HD. They didn't do it for me though. I thought they looked more like a mistake than an exotic but I am probably in the minority with this opinion.

"Maybe you should send your 2-hole/2-slit idea to some of the punch people. Maybe you could get a kick-back somehow? (Free punches for a year? *grin*)" that would be great. But if you do send a copy to yourrself in the mail and don't open the letter. I think that's called a poorman's copyright. My mom sent an idea in to "Barbie" about making one with different wigs. That was a few years after they came out. She got a letter saying something to the effect that it wasn't feasible at that time. Of course years later they did.

I have been thinking on how to improve upon this idea, and have come up with this suggetion: Since the puzzles pieces are not clear it makes it a little difficult to see directly where to cut your photo, so you could take the pieces of the puzzle you are planning to use to cut your photo with (no need to do this with the car body since it will be made of die cut paper, and is too large to cut out the photo's), and trace the shapes on some mylar-(clear stencil material), and then you would be able to see where to position the tire/window or whatever on you photo, so that it is cut in just the right spots. I just called my local Michaels this week and asked the same question since I don't get the paper either! They told me to write to this address, tell them you don't get the paper and therefore don't get the flyer and request they send you the flyer directly. Michaels Stores, Inc. Dear Tracy,
I would let you get me some but my daughter is taking me to Michaels' for my b-day and letting me get some, so I don't know yet which ones I will be getting there. I am going Sunday, if I don't find one I am searching for I will get back with you. Penny

I wish we had a Michael's close to us. There was one in Jackson, Tn but it closed and I don't know where another one is located.
