Thanks for the info. When will the sale be going off? I live about 1 1/2 hours away from a Michaels.....so I was curious before I took off to go up there. Thanks!

We just recently got a Michael's store in about an hour away!! We have NO other scrapbooking stores around, and so Creative Memories has been our only source of supplies. Since Michaels is now so close, its "BYE BYE CREATIVE MEMORIES, and HELLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOO MICHAEL'S!!!!!!" LOL
They just recently had a 40% off coupon in our paper! WHOHOOOOOOO!!

The England/USA game was a bust. USA gave England an early goal by letting the English forward walk through the USA defense at the 4th minute. England returned the favour by giving the USA a goal because of sloppy goal keeping. Most games have ended in ties, and low scoring ties at that. The Brazilian/Korean game today has been probably the best game by far.

Looks like your 'retail therapy' worked wonders! You sure found some goodies! I don't have 'fairies' but I am coveting the jar one...love that idea! She is beautiful & love Jane's idea. FYI, Holiday-ers...There's something new out that I splurged on when I got my new cloche...it's a small box of "LED Light Strings, 30 Warm White lights, 60" length (requires 3 AA) & strings can go in water...to add to everyday & holiday arrangements." (it was $10.99 at this specialty store I shopped but I wanted to try it). Maybe you'll see it cheaper somewhere if it gains popularity! Back to your finds...love all the 'beachy' stuff...& those shell decor from GW are great bargain $$$! You did good, girl ...& am happy to hear you are out w/your friends! Jeanne S.

Thanks, lynn -- even if I don't get these, I may have to try them from somwhere else. I either have to wash my tablecloth after each meal or I use ugly plastic type place mats-- so the bamboo would be a nice change.

Oregon too! They always have those 40% coupons in the Sunday paper. (along with all the other ads) Usually *atleast* twice a month. Michaels sure makes it tough on you though. You can't use the coupon on *anything on sale*! I have been wanting to get a paper crimper, and want to use my coupon on that!! Happy Shopping this weekend ladies!!

Mar, they have a 40% off (regular prices) coupon every week. If you don't see a separate flyer, look through the paper - there should be an ad with the same coupon.

I use these coupons to buy Paperkutz and Creating Keepsakes -- magazines never go on sale at MIchael's so I"m paying only about $2.50 per issue, rather than the $4 cover price.
