I got my paper this morning and thought that everyone would want to know that michael's are having a sale on the scrapbooking things.

Thanks for the info. When will the sale be going off? I live about 1 1/2 hours away from a Michaels.....so I was curious before I took off to go up there. Thanks!

We just recently got a Michael's store in about an hour away!! We have NO other scrapbooking stores around, and so Creative Memories has been our only source of supplies. Since Michaels is now so close, its "BYE BYE CREATIVE MEMORIES, and HELLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOO MICHAEL'S!!!!!!" LOL
They just recently had a 40% off coupon in our paper! WHOHOOOOOOO!!

The England/USA game was a bust. USA gave England an early goal by letting the English forward walk through the USA defense at the 4th minute. England returned the favour by giving the USA a goal because of sloppy goal keeping. Most games have ended in ties, and low scoring ties at that. The Brazilian/Korean game today has been probably the best game by far.

Thanks, lynn -- even if I don't get these, I may have to try them from somwhere else. I either have to wash my tablecloth after each meal or I use ugly plastic type place mats-- so the bamboo would be a nice change.

Obviously, Michaels' techniques will work Perfectly, but I'm having an additional thought... >>> Is this color a DARK tone, maybe in their darkest tinting base?? If it is, you're also fighting the inherent transparencies of a tinting-base made to handle a lot of colorant. >>> Some Ralph Lauren colors we make take up to 14 ounces of colorant!! The Magenta's and Bright Yellow colorants are very transparent in and of themselves. >>> Bottom line: Some colors take both good technique, AND more time (re: COATS) to achieve. Soooo, if your color had Yellows in it, and went into the darkest base, I'm kinda surprised you didn't need 3 coats! Hope it goes well! Faron

Wow! Great deal but... The nearest Michaels is 60 miles away. Dh actually works in that town, but I just dont see the guy he commutes with wanting to Michaels for me, lol. I'll email him anywho incase he heads in that direction at lunch time or for some other reason. I'd love to try them. Even if I didn't love them they would be great to use with kids. TFS Kathy

Mar, they have a 40% off (regular prices) coupon every week. If you don't see a separate flyer, look through the paper - there should be an ad with the same coupon.

I use these coupons to buy Paperkutz and Creating Keepsakes -- magazines never go on sale at MIchael's so I"m paying only about $2.50 per issue, rather than the $4 cover price.
