I need the letter B in the form of a sticker

Does anyone know where I can find stickers that are only letters.....I am looking for the letter B in a tailored and

elegant print. I am planning on using them to secure wedding programs and I want them to be pretty, not childish

My best reccommendation is for you to either buy computer sticker paper and print off an elegant font, (there are a TON of font sites that you can use for free online) or another option is for you to find a "B" you like and take it to walmart or the closest store to you that has the NEW Kodak picture maker machine, and have them copy it onto the new sticker paper they have available. I would try the first option first since the picture maker sheets cost around $5.99 a sheet and it would probably only have 24 at the most per sheet. You could call and ask to make sure. You can buy sticker paper for computer printers for around $10.00 for a pack of 10 I think, and they are available at most office supply stores. Love Penny

thank you. If it is not too hard, could you explain how I would go about printing the font I select....do i have to download the letter of my choice and replicate it on the sheet so many times to have a complete page of B's.....

Advertising gives us a free forum. Cost of doing business and if one doesn't like the ads, there are other forums. Proofreading and the "preview message" can catch most errors and those that are missed, usually aren't all that serious and can be downright funny sometimes. Off topic posts can add life and humour to an otherwise tedious subject and is often called, "having a conversation". GW's SC&M is probably one of the most popular focused forums there is. The number of posts and speed at which the pages advance is proof of that. If one checks out the member page of the OP, one will find he is no longer with us. Seems he/she went a little, um, overboard, shall we say. Some other multiple personalities were also deleted that may or may not have been related. I agree, no apology was necessary. Lloyd P.S. After going through this thread again, I realize I did not cast a vote, I do not think a unique BSF forum is needed.

Hi, I have another question on this plant. I have a big stem growing west. big knob where guy who owned it said was knocked off. Should I cut this side branch off.. if so where? other side of big knob dead area..toward trunk? or where. left or right of knob? Bill I totally mis-understood you. Thought you said to cut the stem down to the trunk because of the chunks out..wow..that really threw me.. so here is the side branch cut where? or leave alone. also is that empty pot next to the red white the 7 gallon one discussed for me to buy? need help photos, slides, letters?
Q

My dad was an avid photographer (I am too), and left me thousands of negatives, prints, and slides from the 1920s to the 1960s. I bought a Canon 9950F scanner, which does a beautiful job on all three. It is no longer manufactured, but this one comes close and costs a lot less: Canon Canoscan 9000F Luckily for me, my dad was far more organized than I. All the negatives, all the slides, and most of the prints were neatly filed. Still, the sheer volume was daunting, as was the fact that I knew nothing about using a photo scanner. As a result, the scanner sat in its unopened box for a couple of years. But once I pushed myself to "just do it," it turned out to be an enjoyable and often exciting task. I've been doing it for about five years, a few at a time. My dad would be amazed to see the technology--and, thanks to the Internet, how many people enjoy seeing his photos. His photos are a legacy, and a valuable one. I'm so lucky to have them, and to be able to hand them on to the next generations. I hope they will feel the same way about my own photography.

Requesting Straw Bales/Compostables-Form Letter
Q
Comments (0)
Many times you can scavenge straw bales from businesses and individuals who use them in Fall displays or Halloween decorations. This is a terrific and easily stockpiled brown for composting and also makes a very good mulch for vegetable gardens. Below is the text of a 1 page form letter I wrote to request this material. I printed up a dozen or so copies and keep them in the truck. Whenever I spot a "stash" I stop and look for the manager, make my pitch and give him a copy. The beauty is even if the manager is unavailable you can leave the letter for him and get to make your pitch without having to make additional trips back. You can also use this method to "troll" other establishments for compostables like leaves, grass clippings, tree trimmer chips, juice bar leavings, farmers markets discards and so on. Just modify the text as needed to suit your request. If you hit enough locations you will surely wind up with a number of reliable "suppliers". Print this on side one of the page Removal of your Straw Bales Dear Sir or Madam, I am looking to collect unwanted straw bales to use as winter mulch for a large garden. I would be happy to remove the bales you have on your display once you no longer have any use for them. I will also take away any unneeded corn stalks or pumpkins if you have them. You can call me at the number below. Leave a message with your location. At your convenience, I will come by, gather up, and dispose of whatever you no longer have a need for. Please post this note somewhere as a reminder. Thank you for your time, A.C. Wacko 555-123-4567 Print this on side two of the page in a large, bold font and centered at the top Straw Bale Pick Up 555-123-4567 Tri fold the page so the large bold face shows.

I'm guessing that is correct, but since I dont 'have a computer (just webtv) and my printer is not hooked up yet, I would think so. I would go to the computer craft forum and ask this question. Love Penny

Just decide on the font you want, and then go into your labeling program (i use printshop), and it will ask how many you want to print. Use the sticker paper, overlay it first to make sure it fits on the stickers, and print it off. I can get 30 stickers on a sheet.
