I need the letter B in the form of a sticker

Does anyone know where I can find stickers that are only letters.....I am looking for the letter B in a tailored and

elegant print. I am planning on using them to secure wedding programs and I want them to be pretty, not childish

My best reccommendation is for you to either buy computer sticker paper and print off an elegant font, (there are a TON of font sites that you can use for free online) or another option is for you to find a "B" you like and take it to walmart or the closest store to you that has the NEW Kodak picture maker machine, and have them copy it onto the new sticker paper they have available. I would try the first option first since the picture maker sheets cost around $5.99 a sheet and it would probably only have 24 at the most per sheet. You could call and ask to make sure. You can buy sticker paper for computer printers for around $10.00 for a pack of 10 I think, and they are available at most office supply stores. Love Penny

thank you. If it is not too hard, could you explain how I would go about printing the font I select....do i have to download the letter of my choice and replicate it on the sheet so many times to have a complete page of B's.....

Thanks for the tips, especially the one about seeking psychiatric help. @flyleft: I guess I wasn't very clear...my fault! My architect has been paid very well. He probably sleeps on a mattress filled with money. Very well. The GC didn't do anything more than take much too long to provide a cost plus bid for me. Also, I forgot to mention the 300 SF includes a 1/2 bath, but yeah -- you're right. The entire house is about 3400 SF GLA, so not a mega-mansion by any means, but I've been in several thousands of houses over the course of my career (appraisal) and I suppose I'm jaded about bath size! @sherry -- your bath is beautiful! That's something you do in word. I'm working from a PC without Word installed (using OO on this one) so I can't tell you the exact steps, but I think there's a menu item for table. From that, you'll have the option to create a table and it will let you decide whether to use fixed size or size to the content (or something like that). You want the fixed size option.

My dad was an avid photographer (I am too), and left me thousands of negatives, prints, and slides from the 1920s to the 1960s. I bought a Canon 9950F scanner, which does a beautiful job on all three. It is no longer manufactured, but this one comes close and costs a lot less: Canon Canoscan 9000F Luckily for me, my dad was far more organized than I. All the negatives, all the slides, and most of the prints were neatly filed. Still, the sheer volume was daunting, as was the fact that I knew nothing about using a photo scanner. As a result, the scanner sat in its unopened box for a couple of years. But once I pushed myself to "just do it," it turned out to be an enjoyable and often exciting task. I've been doing it for about five years, a few at a time. My dad would be amazed to see the technology--and, thanks to the Internet, how many people enjoy seeing his photos. His photos are a legacy, and a valuable one. I'm so lucky to have them, and to be able to hand them on to the next generations. I hope they will feel the same way about my own photography.

Hi Belle and thanks for the wb! That's good to know about the flat round brush. I don't have any of those and have been thinking I needed to get some. Your comment about the video reminded me of this video, which shows an even simpler way (though the guy is kind of creepy, IMO): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCDm6fIPJRE I used to ink schematics on 30x40 mylar sheets at Boeing, and we had rulers that had cork strips under them, and also ones with slightly elevated metal strips on the sides that do the same thing. I still have them, but never thought about running a paint brush along them. I think they're not high enough, but they worked great with a rapidagraph. You could also tape pennies to the bottom. But I like what that guy does on that video -- so easy! Thanks about the mistakes not being so noticed. I keep reminding myself of that. I'll try not to stay away so long. I just don't do decorative painting as often as many of you. I sort of mix creative projects. I'll make a post showing you the last one I did. ~~ Bebe, I've been reusing the tape like you suggested. Works great until the edges get a little wavy with dried paint... but then, I'm working with latex at the moment just striping the inside sides of the toy box, so it would probably be better with acrylic -- not such quick buildup. Still, I've gotten far more mileage out of my tape than I would have, thanks.

I'm guessing that is correct, but since I dont 'have a computer (just webtv) and my printer is not hooked up yet, I would think so. I would go to the computer craft forum and ask this question. Love Penny

Just decide on the font you want, and then go into your labeling program (i use printshop), and it will ask how many you want to print. Use the sticker paper, overlay it first to make sure it fits on the stickers, and print it off. I can get 30 stickers on a sheet.

Joni, Sticker paper can be found at stores like Office Max, Office depot, or even Walmart carries some in the office isle. It comes in a pack of?? sheets and is clearly labled as stickers.
