Evening All! It was the same here, Tuesday, Margo, overcast and windy but the wind wasn't bitterly cold, which was a welcome change. My mini daffs are starting to bloom! The crocuses are still going strong. And I too am still tired. Bummer! Thank you for the wonderful swap. I love to see all the iris in bloom and I like to take flowers to work to share with those who don't have any. We have had a busy summer. My husband had carpitunnel surgery on one hand and 2 days later our daughter had a baby girl ( she wasn't breathing at 1st so she was on oxygen for a day but doing good after that awful scare).the next week our son-in-law had heart surgery- they had to burn his heart in 67 locations- it was a very risky surgery. Yesterday my husband had his other hand done so now more recovery. This swap was really great to get my mind off all the craziness. You never know where people are in life when you do something soooooo special. Thanks you again from the bottom of my heart.

Hi all, I took my grandmother to the Top of the Falls restaurant today for her birthday. So I was back at the brink again! It is a very pretty view of the falls from the restaurant. Char, I'm glad you like the poems. Shirley, One of the most beautiful things I ever experienced was driving at dawn through the Blue Ridge mountains in the Virgina/North Carolina area. I drive through there every year on my way to Key Largo, but one year we went later than normal. The Red Buds and white flowering shrubs were in bloom. It was absolutely gorgeous! Klickitat, I didn't realize it was your first veggie garden! That is exciting. The veggies taste so good. Gary made some fried eggplant from the garden yesterday. It was so yummy. Maryanne, You got some nice shots. The butterfly came out so good. And you did go on the balloon! I give you a lot of credit. You would never get me on that thing! yeah, Rita - I think that any problems with messing up the tv refers to those incidents where someone let go of the remote. I've not heard of them hurting TV's. And the newer remotes have a locking mechanism on the strap that is pretty secure. The Wii Bar is the little bar that sits either in front of or on top of the TV that detects your movements. Joanne, you will like WiiFit. It keeps track of lots of stuff! And it's fun to watch other people hula hoop - LOL! I'll throw in here that Wii is also capable of playing Nintendo Gamecube games. We bought a used gamecube controller - and the Gamecube games - you can often find pretty cheap. A great game is Donkey Konga - with bongo drums. Really fun!
