Just an update - I went on a hunt to a number of the HG/Mxx/Mrsh's store the other day and found some of the 222 fifth dishes in one. The pattern was "Belize" and although it wasn't top on my list (some of the other patterns I have like Fleur Rouge and Summer Botanicals are similar) it was one I really liked and the price was right so I grabbed them. Paid $6 each for 6 dinner plates and $5 each for 3 (all they had) salad plates. Oh and I did get bowls too which was nice. It is a nice pattern to mix and match with so I can't go wrong. Substantially less money than ebay, with shipping, and replacements. I went to the Horchow website and they have some gorgeous dinnerware. I am patiently waiting for one of their sales. Is there such a thing as a "dish addict?" Is there a twelve step (or twelve place setting) progam??? Ignore my attempt at bad humor. I seriously have to work on storage for all my dishes because they have taken over. This will not stop me from continuing my search though!

Thank you for posting that example! I was just checking in on this thread hoping to see an example of where I might locate it on a tub/shower wall in terms of height since I will want to access it while lying down as well as while standing. Not a big deal (obviously!!!) but I want it to look right and to function right. I'm sure he is going to lose it on me. I have found all of this quite stressful at a time when work is also quite stressful. Oh well. This, along with a couple of the bathroom rated command hooks for loofahs and we should be all good for storage sice none of my bottles are more than 13 inches tall. I was not thinking quite clearly yesterday when I went to the Tile Shop. I wonder if he will also charge me $200 for tiling the little one? I hope not. He really seems lacking in creativity and a desire to do anything beyond what he "has seen" or certainly to do what I want; first on today's agenda will be me telling him that we are going to find a way to recess a medicine cabinet in a structural wall (after all it does support only the roof, not another whole story). He told me yesterday it would be impossible to do so. I really think he usually just doesn't want to do the work or put in the effort and hopes I will just take him at his word if he seems unpleasant enough to deal with. What s smart strategy! It really is not reflected in his other AL reviews but maybe they just took it as him being a seasoned authority. I probably should remind him I am an Angie's list member.

This one I made for the bed using a combination of sheets, satin ribbon and some very pretty but somewhat expensive printed quilting fabric. The ribbon conceals the raw edges so I could make the most of the patterned material - the shams and horizontal rows for a queen size took nearly the full yard and then I made a decorative throw pillow with pleating to hide that the print material used was the scraps, raw edges also concealed with ribbon. Leftover ribbon as the ties (not shown) at one end and internally keep the duvet inside from moving around/sliding out and bunching. Our sheets are blue solid, teal solid, and gray solid - all 400tc and under $45 a set at target. I have a white and gray comforter left over from when we staged our previous home also, however...the dog sleeps with us and I could have told the stager the futility in buying any soft home decor/furnishing that is mostly white when one has a dog. Even with washing. I have tennis balls that go in the dryer with it to keep the poly fill from being lumpy. Eventually it will become the dog’s comforter. The kids room has two bunk beds (for up to 4 kids) and solid blue comforters, sheets are blue solid, blue stripe, and blue dots (I bought a variety of patterns in a dozen sets since sheets and kids both have to get washed really often and sometimes you have to throw out a set of sheets.)
