Susanka - it will do really well in a hanging pot near the window. I think you manage really well - and plant this size and age - i wouldn't change anything - you can leach it - put it in a sink and run the water through the soil until it runs clear to refresh the soil. What I suggest - is to restart it. Get the pot you like - probably something you can hang or put in an urn so it can trail, fell it with a light soil - AV soil plus 1/3 perlite added will work - and next time you are trimming your old plant - stick the cuttings in this new pot - and continue the routine you already mastered - trim the tips, stick them in a pot. I think it is a best treatment of the vining plants - trim them to the desirable length - and every so often restart them - because the old stems in a center become bare with time and repotting won't help. Mark, challenge experiemnts have been done and the efficacies you post I don't think are too far off from such data that I've seen. There's a reason why almost all the alerts from almost all states here in the NE have been suggesting Daconil alternating with a copper product, b'c Daconil is known to be highly preventive. No product is 100% effective, as you know. Unless it's known that a specific disease is in the specific area where one garedens one can spray anything and conclude it worked, same as folks using eggshells and claiming that they prevent BER. I don't think your first picture indicated LB at all and right now I forget the second picture. LOL One of the prime sources of LB in the past has been just East of you in potato country where potato cull piles have been the source of LB. but you'd need easterly winds to get the highest exposure and where you and I live the winds are westerly. You mentioed Bravo, but in NYS that can only be sold to commercial farmers with a pesticide license. Same for Tatoo, and both are Daconil at a higher concentration and there are some other products that also can be used only by those with pesticide licenses. Can an LB infected plant survive the infection? To date I've had no personal experience with that but everything I've read says no, it's lethal. I never thought that...but he was 42 years old by the time I was born...I think he probably had changed a bit by the time I was old enough to have memories of him. He was a quiet man...but he loved kids...loved to tease with them...my kids loved him. Never came to the house without a dollar in his pocket for each of the kids. patti
