@loobab & @maggieq - Thank you! Clearly, I am very pleased with myself. :-) I am in *LOVE* with my new mirror. Now, I'm struggling with sconce choice! I have chosen a basic style that I like, but so many choices! And so many types of light bulbs, and dimensions within the style! BTW - the bump out where the mirror is hanging is 60", the same width as the (single sink) vanity that is coming. The painters tape is at vanity height. After looking over these Latillas Photos, I advise you to place the latillas between the rafters. Your patio roof is made up of rafters that span from the house to posts and beam support. There are purlins across the rafters to which the metal roofing is attached. Cut the latillas to fit between the rafters and use brad nails to toenail the ends of each latilla to the rafters. This will use two brads for each latilla.

Because I don’t know anything about building or contracting and he told me that’s what needed to be done to install the floor.
