Color copies give wonderful results with scrapbook pages, except for some stickers(don't remember the exact name) and silver or golden papers. I used to make Xmas scrapbooking cards and copy them without problems.
The only problem here in France is if you want to copy a 12x12 page, because it is quite expensive. But for format near 8 1/2x11 or under is very affordable. I don't remember the prices for colorcopies in USA. so try and you will be very surprised!

Sarah, I made calenders for the grandparents this past Christmas out of a collage of pictures put together for each month. I then took the pages to Kinko's or Office Max and had them color coppied. They came out pretty nice. For a regular size piece of paper - 8 x 11 1/2, cost is 1.00 and the bigger size they do, 8x 17(I think it is) cost 2.00.
We just copied a large collage of pictures that our daughter had put together for a friend of hers who died,to give to her parents. We did not have copies of the pictures she used, and this way her and her friends each had a color copy of the collage (which they also laminated for us). It turned out very nice. Sometimes you might have them do a page for you and look at it first, then make your decision. If they use a good quality of paper and have their settings right, it turns out pretty good.
