I just finished an ABC/123 Scrapbook for my son. What I did was I used a CM Sentiments album ( a real good size) and the first page was A. So I used stickers and Diecuts with words that are appropriate for A. For example, Airplane, apple, Apron, ant,....
Then I did this for all of the letters in the alphabet. I also incorporated photos in the album as well. Like for letter "G" Grandmother Smith, .. or for "U" Uncle Joe..
After letter Z, I then did a numbers part from 1 to 10. So for number 1, I put a Die Cut of a #1 in the corner and a large Diecut of a clown - thus showing one item. For #8, I placed 8 stickers of a dog , and so on. Once complete, this album can be used as a learning tool for children.

An ABC scrapbook is a scrapbook where you scrap pictures, die cuts and stickers in alphabetical order. For instance, everything that starts with an A would be on a page or 2 page spread. Does this make sense? I hope this helps!

ABC albums are a great way to use "leftover" pictures. I haven't done one yet, but as usual, I have lots of ideas floating around in my head. I try to mark letter size envelopes with "A", "B", etc. so when I get around to doing the album, hopefully all of my 26 envelopes will be filled.

In another posting (don't remember which one) somebody gave a web site that had suggestions for each letter by subject. In other words, there was a complete list for a little boy ABC album, little girl ABC album, sports album, wedding, occupations, etc. so you just choose a subject and see a bunch of suggestions for each letter having to do with that theme. Check it out! Tons of great ideas.

I just recently finished 3 ABC books for my children. I have some very good ideas for the wierd letters like X, Y and others that you think may be easy but are not, like I, some things like zip code for z, you simply write down your zip code. ABC books are wonderful to us up your extra photos, just remember you don't have to crop the photos down to much if it is a hard letter to fill. ABC books can be almost any subject as well, not just for children. Have fun.

I did an ABC book of our trip to Israel. All the way from A for Airport to Z for Zacchaeus Tree!
