Cabinet hardware finish to go with stainless and copper

In our kitchen remodel we'll have dark cherry cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and sinks, Santa Cecilia granite counter tops, a copper range exhaust hood, and a few small (1") copper accent dots in the goldish travertine back splash. We're leaning towards chrome faucets, mainly because the faucets we want don't come in any other finish we like, such as oil rubbed bronze.

At first we thought we'd go with satin nickel cabinet knobs to coordinate with the stainless steel used, plus most of the pendant lighting fixtures we like come with satin nickel rods and other hardware. Plus, we thought the satin nickel knobs would contrast well with the dark cherry cabinetry.

Now we're second guessing ourselves and think maybe knobs in an oil rubbed bronze finish - most of which have a little copper-looking rub through on their edges - would subtly carry on the copper of the hood and back splash accent dots. Then again, the darker knobs would tend to blend in with, and not "pop" against, the dark cherry cabinetry like the satin nickel would. As for the pendants, most can also be had with an oil rubbed (or dark) bronze finish.

Designers weigh in, please...or anyone with an opinion.

Thanks!
