Thanks! I was leaning towards the bronze myself, but the decorator we are working with wanted polished nickel. She tends to like grays and silver tones way more than I do.

It's really a personal, aesthetic choice. Check out photos on Houzz & you'll see huge variation, and you can gauge which ones look good to you. A more modern look tends to be very long pulls - often on both drawers and all upper cabinets as well. A "rule of thumb" I've seen for drawers is making a pull 1/3 the size of the cabinet - but there's a lot of variation there, too. Really, it seems that are are no rules - there's only what you like. If you're planning on "aging in place", consensus seems to be that pulls are easier than knobs for arthritic hands. Hello, everyone's so helpful here. So it's between satin nickel and dark brushed copper. This is a whole-house remodel of my Dad's mountain/ski vacation house that all the adult siblings are helping him with. The cabinets are in. I tried my best to do a mock-up in order to visualize which finish to choose. The hardware is going to be Jeffery Alexander: Pull - Bremen 1; Knob - Durham The finish will either be satin nickel or dark brushed copper. There are differing opinions between the siblings, so I thought I'd ask here. Floors: medium toned wood (they are actually darker than I was able to show in my mock-up) Cabinets: soft white Counters: Taj Mahal quartzite Backsplash: not chosen yet, it will be neutral and quiet Sink: stainless Elkay Faucet: Delta Trinsic Chrome Fireplace: rocked Furniture: dark brown dining table and chairs Metal on the light fixtures: chandelier and pendants will have matte black for the metal parts Sofa: darkish mushroom brown fabric with colorful accent pillows Area Rug: CB Alvarez Garden (pic below) Sample board: shows the fabric sampled, rug sample, paint, taj sample So...satin nickel or dark brushed copper? @backstroae Ours are Berenson Hearthstone. I just went and measured and the larger pulls do stick out a bit more than the smaller ones, but not by a lot. On our one 30" drawer we used a 160mm pull as the 12" looked too big. But seriously... if you can buy one of each pull size and hold them up to each drawer, do so... we would have not bought the right sizes if we had just guessed. Also, to anyone who reads this who may be considering Berenson brushed nickel hardware. It is fantastic and shows no smudges no matter how greasy my hands are... they look perfect still. We used cheaper pulls in the bathrooms and those show every fingerprint (as does Kohler's BN hardware so I guess it sort of matches).
