Should cabinetry match trim?

Hi everyone!

Thanks to the removal of a load-bearing wall, we now have an open concept home in need of some serious painting. Walls throughout the whole house (excluding bedrooms and bathrooms) will be painted BM Abalone and all trim will be BM White Dove. In addition, we want to paint all of the cabinetry in the house white as well. This would include the kitchen (which is now open to the living room and dining room), the built-in pantry (down a hall from the kitchen, not visible to the rest of the house), and the built-in linin cabinet (on the landing between the first and second floor). My question is, should all of this cabinetry also be painted BM White Dove, or should we choose another white? If it should be different, what colour would you suggest? We want everything to be cohesive, but I'm not sure if the trim and the cabinets are "supposed to" all blend in with each other.

Your expertise is greatly appreciated!
