I can't find 15 inch upper cabinets.

I have searched the web many times and can't find 15 inch deep upper kitchen cabinets. Can anyone help?

Make them yourself.

Have a cabinetmaker make them for you.

We have a mix of 12" and 15" deep upper cabinets. Our cabinets are Omega Dynasty/Embassy (semi custom).

I'm not sure what help you need. To get more info about Omega, you can visit their website but you cannot purchase cabinets at their site. I doubt you can purchase them anywhere online--you will probably have to find a dealer to work through.

It's easy to modify an IKEA cabinet if you have access to a table saw and only need to cut down the depth of the cabinet. You wouldn't need to re-drill for any hinges but you would need to buy some L brackets to put everything together. Lay out the sides, top, bottom like you were going to assemble the cabinet... make sure you properly determine where you should cut and simply cut off an equal amount on all 4 pieces. Use the L brackets to attach everything together.. we used 8, two on each inside corner, 1 towards the front, 1 towards the back. I think we used more brackets to attatch it to the wall... use proper anchors for your structure!

Can I use knobs on 48 inch upper cabinets

I can't speak to the 18" pulls, but I know what you mean about the knobs. My cabs are only 42" high, but I understand the dilemma. I chose the crescent shaped pulls for the drawers (not sure if that's the right description...the kind you can tuck all your fingers under). So, I don't really want handles for the upper cabinets, but prefer knobs. I finally settled on 1.5" knobs to give them more balance, and give something more to grab onto. The downside to knobs is wearing the cabs around them over time since you're more likely to contact the cabinet when reaching for a knob. Maybe you could special order larger, more elongated knobs to get the balance you are looking for. Good luck!

I would mark off the interior space on a flat surface (consider if your face frames to block part of the access). Put the stuff you want to store in the taped off area to give you a better idea of what might fit. You might only get one stack of bowls there, and maybe 3 columns of glasses. In my old kitchen, I had a corner cabinet with an angled door that was maybe 15". I used it for glasses. There was plenty of space in the cabinet, but the door really limited access and I hated it. If possible, consider a drawer for smaller spices or else they will be buried behind one another and difficult to locate and access.

Generally, anything bigger than the "standard" depth cabinet is a custom size. If you are working through a company that carries well known cabinet lines , it will cost a lot to have deeper cabinets made, since they have to be custom made. Most large cabinet manufacturers buy the boxes already made.

You can probably do better by finding a local cabinet maker, especially if they make their own boxes. Then you can get them any depth you want.

we just bought shiloh cabinets and did some staggering of depths in our uppers, so some are 12" deep, some are 15". it wasn't an issue and these aren't custom cabinets.

i think most cabinet companies will have 15" deep uppers. they may not mention it on their websites. have you asked your cabinet person?

Look at any semi-custom cabinet line. You will have no problem finding 15" deep. Cabinet lines like Durasupreme, Kahle's, Shiloh, Omega etc all offer this as a normal option.

I know Kraftmaid has both 12" and 15" uppers. Our plans from Home Depot used both. We chose semi-custom cabinets from Milmonde (a Canadian company) - they also offer both.
