Re: Foil tape... This is the best, most dependable labeling tape there is. It is in the hardware store or big box store with the duct tapes, but it is real shiney and looks like tin foil. It has a paper backing you peel off as you use it. You can stick it on anything, and write with any pen you want -- even one that has no ink! It makes an engraving that lasts forever, and the tape adhesive is water resistant. Mine are always out there year round through New England winters, and I've never had one lose it sticky-ness. (Can't say that for regular duct tape, that's for sure.) For a winter project, I wrap coffee stirrers (the flat wooden kind) with this tape, then I always have them handy for planting out. For winter sowing I stick a piece right on the milk jug and write on it there. I put 2 labels on each jug though, one near the bottom and one near the top. That's so I can read them from above, but there will still be a label on it when I cut the tops off in the spring. Get the foil tape. One roll will last you forever.

I have the whole alphabet in cassettes for my cassette punch. I like the alphabet punches for certain projects, but the punches don't work well for some projects. For one, I find it hard to punch the letters in a straight line no matter what i try. I did finally get it to look nice for the last layout i did. Also, it is hard to figure out how to space the letters. I paid $60 for the alphabet and numbers and 15 shapes. Although this was pretty cheap for the set i bought, i at times regret spending the money on this. Sorry this review is not directly for or against alphabet punches. I do like having mine for some projects, but they don't work on all the projects i imagined they would. HTH, Jenny

I have a fiskars shape cutter with the templates (heart, circle, square, star, and oval and I love it. I also have an eyelet setter and with that you need the mat and the hammer, I have a big fiskars embossing thing (which I really need to start using more) I have some embossing punches and for my birthday I just got an alphabet punch set. For Christmas I have asked for a sizzix side kick with diecuts. I also have to different size paper cutters, which I actually find I use my big one more Gel pens, stickers, pop dots, are all other things I use also.
