Good question! I am taking a wild guess here, so I won't be offended if someone sets me straight. ;) If you are composting based on aerobic organisims, I would avoid the alchol fruit. Alcohol is a product of anaerobic fermentation, so I would guess that aerobic organisims do not do well with it. We swab wounds with the stuff to kill off any little bugs that might cause infection, so at least for awhile, I would not add it directly to the pile if you are really picky about how quickly things move along. Perhaps some scientist can tell us for sure!

A Certificate of Occupancy is the responsibility of the municipality and should have no direct bearing on the construction contract or payments. I'm not familiar with a Certificate of Completion but it should be specifically defined in your constuction contract. I would guess it comes after the punch list work is complete. AIA contracts use the term Certificate of Substantial Completion which is the point where the owner can use the property which is before the punch list work is completed. In any case, Final Payment should not occur before the punch list work is completed.
