No, Ami, I don't know about Polish non acid, but I can tell you that one of the varieties, it was either Todd County Amish or Amish Potato Leaf also came to me as non-acid before the person who gave me the seeds named them, but that was just the way the Amish family who had them described it and I suppose it had to do with their view of taste. The only variety I know of that has DOCUMENTED LOW acid is Jet Star, as Farkee also mentioned, but it still has acid, as do all varieties of tomatoes. And unlike Farkee's experience in FL it does well for me and is one of the few hybrids that I would grow again. dirt boy, are you asking for a medical reason and/or taste reason? Carolyn

My husband gave me my Xyron 850 for Christmas. I love it! At the time they were having a special... when purchasing the 850, you got the 500 sticker maker, free. (We gave the 500 to our daughter who is also into scrapbooking.) Otherwise I would have gone with the 1200, I think. I am a teacher and have used it for making books and materials for class. I don't know if it's the teacher in me and years of experience with using every inch of laminating, but I don't have much waste at all. Since it has a hand crank, you have great control over the speed in which materials go through the machine. You can place items close together to prevent the waste you were referring to. If you want tiny punches as stickers or laminated, put a whole sheet of paper through the machine and then punch your punches. My husband was also hesitant when I showed him the machine for the first time but now he sees how many uses I have for it and is glad he made the purchase.

HI Monique, Stamping is a wonderful addition to scrapbook pages. You can use the color watercolor pencils with no problem, also gel pens and color markers(make sure they are permanent and acid free). You can get a ph pen at Ac Moore or Michaels, or lss(local scrapbook shop). YOu can also use chalks on your pages, gives it a softer look. Have fun with your stamps.

If there is a Hobby Lobby or a Michael's around you, they sell acid-free foam core. Rebecca
