I am new,can someone help me out

I am new to scrapbooks.I am trying to make my In laws a scrapbook of their 50th anniv,,,,I have everything I need..But I need something I can look at to tell me how,where to stick things....I am a dummie...Thanks for any help or suggestions....Judy

I'm not a scrapper but I suggest you scroll down and read all the previous posts. There will be plenty of suggestions you can use and sites you can visit. Good Luck

Do not feel any guilt ridding your yard of this maple: it is a cultivar of the Norway maple, which is considered an invasive pest species. Here's a quote from the Western Oregon University: "The Norway Maple is an invasive pest that should be discouraged from growth." The purple form is commonly planted in suburban yards, and escapes by seeding itself all over. You would be helping the local environment by "discouraging" it from growth. Yes, the ginko and european beech are also not native, however, they are not known to reseed themselves wantonly around a neighborhood, county or state. Although beeches have very thirsty roots too, just thirst is not the point here; when it comes to competition for the entire environment , the Norway Maple can out-compete almost any other tree (there are other tree thugs too that share this infamy). Heruga Their trees are grown under perfect conditions and are very well feed. I grew 3 tangerine trees under perfect warmth and light condition and this is what 1 year from seed sprout looks likeThese trees are 13 months old and all have more than 8 feet of trunk/branch/twig growth. 2.5 years old has a linear branch growth of over 100 feet. I measured it and am accurate to within 10 feet. The richest dirt heavy feed and greenhouse over winter with no slow growth season. This is also a tangerine tree and will grow 3 timed-4 times as faster than a Meiwa kumquat as Laura pointed out. 6b Steve

I have two spiders I am hoping someone can help me ID

They are both orb weavers. I'm pretty sure that the second on is Araneus diatematus, European Garden spider (common in Europe and North America). The first one is difficult to ID since it appears to be photographed from underneath. But she is sitting in the middle of her orb web. The cute spider eating the fly has got to be one of the jumping spiders.

Do google search using the words "scrapbook and anniversary." There are quite a few sites that have free patterns and others that will have pages of what others have done. Check out the twopeasinapod site. They have all kinds of stuff like sayings, pages that others have done, etc., that might be useful.

Go to a scrapbooking store or craft store's scrapbooking section and you will find all kinds of products for "sticking" the pictures to the page. DO NOT use tapes or glues that are not designed for scrapbooks. Some of them can really damage your pictures over time. Also, look for idea books and magazines for lots of ideas.
