I've searched and searched and also used google. In one of the threads, not necessarily in this particular forum but on gardenweb, somebody posted a photo of a trellis they had made. I don't remember what was growing ON it, if anything. It had regular lattice only double with narrower slats, don't know if it was plastic or wood. If I remember correctly, it had edges made with fairly large diameter pvc pipe, possibly with rounded and not square corners, and was tied or wound with some kind of twine every so often in some fashion. Does anybody remember that photo and where it might be? I lot get taken off, but some people (like me) leave their photos out on their server for quite awhile. I think the photo was embedded into the post and not an external link.

Yeah I remember those. My Dad had one in his basement workshop. Only used it to hold a key for the door lock (never locked and only one key anyway). I imagine it was thrown away or else sold at his auction a few years ago. I would have liked to have had that. Actually several things I would have liked but I wasn't told about the sale of his house and auction.... Oh well, only material things. Still have the memories. I usually would toss a note into peoples' mailboxes. Even to this day I sometimes do. All too often I wouldn't have pen and/or paper though. Used to have some little business cards made up to leave. On one side I had made up a nice graphic saying "This must be your LUCKY DAY! You MISSED me!", then on the other side the days of the week and a time indicator to say what day/date and time I was there. Was really handy. Should print some more, although I seldom use them since gas prices went up, I don't chance things too often. More often I'll call to see if they're home.

I was born and raised in Holland Michigan. Been here all my life. Holland has about 60,000 population now, back when I was little more like 35,000. When I was young there was only little store open on sunday in the "bad part of town" LOL. NOTHING was open and I do mean Nothing!!!! We did not leave our yard except for a ride to the country with Mom and Dad. Everyone did it so it wasn't anything unusal. We did not know any different. Our county just passed a new law to allow alcohol sales on Sunday. It went into effect December 1st, 2008. Things are so different now, everything is open and now you can drink on Sunday! I love it!

Does anybody remember this one from J&P a few yrs ago? It apparently didn't do well or something, cuz it's not available anymore and it's not even listed on HMF. It's one of their roses they only offered maybe one season or so. You know me, if it's a stripey I gotta have it. I got it as an own root and it's really taken a long time to do anything. This is the first bloom I've had in what? 3yrs! Kinda nice. But I took these pics this morning and this evening it had already blown to stamens showing. Anybody else out there get this one?
