The Swiss Re tower in London is usually known as the "Gherkin" (for obvious reasons). It is rather unusual inside. It is a shame there was no photo produced. C'est la vie.

A very interesting person and portfolio of works, i remember writing an essay on the Swiss re building back in uni as well as sustainable architecture by the likes of Foster and Fuller. the shape of the gherkin was conceived to maximize space with a minimal ground footprint, due to the restrictions the government had imposed because of the London skyline, it ended up being a lot shorter than originally planned.
