My local dealer website shows a $40 difference in the two saws. ($470 vs $510 with 16" bar). Both the 260 and 260 Pro are listed in the group of "Professional Use" saws.

I love my DP9 and I ordered the Anniversary Edition last month because I was informed the Anniversary Ed is the last one and only one that will work on my Vista machine (whenever it gets done). Right now I am playing musical computers --- sons', husband's, daughters'-- but can hardly wait for the machine with Vista to get here so I can load my Anniversary Edition DP. Love the DP program! I know it will take practice to get anywhere near as good as you but just the little I've learned from playing around on my own has helped me and others around me so much with all our photos. The most requested? "Can you remove this huge zit on my face?" Right now I only have DP on this computer (son's) so I wanted to try and practice doing the 'stitching' (what a neat word for it! lol) for a couple days before the music stops and I have to find another chair...errr....I mean, computer without the DP. I think it has to do with a format issue, that's all I know and want to know. At first I thought it was a clip board problem. More: on Paste Special. If you have ever tried copying and pasting to another document or application in which the formatting is different, you may have found yourself with mismatched text. Lets get this straight: You click on Start > programs > MS Works > MS Works Database > by default blank database is selected > OK > gives you Create database with general selected on the field tab. Now where it says Field1 you type in NAME (for example) > add > done. You now have a 1 column database with a column heading of NAME. Right? Now the 1st field in Row 1 is highlighted. Right? Now you click the data entry bar and type in a name -John- and nothing appears in the blank field. Right? The column heading NAME is replacd with the word John. Right? This cannot be. What you MUST be doing is changing the name of the field. Thats done by clicking the heading (NAME) > format, which calls up the format box with 5 tabs the 1st of which is the field tab with general selected, > then proceding as you did originally and as I described above in my 1st paragraph. Go to the help menu and look for 'rename a field' and see if that isn't what you are doing. Also in the help menu find or type in add and look at "add a field" see if that isn't what you are doing to/instead/and. I think you may be confused as to what is a field and what is a report in the context of this datasheet.
