Hi!!!!!! I'm back in Oklahoma safe and sound. Parents are doing fine and I am so glad to be back with DH. I think he might have missed me 'cause he made me coffee yesterday morning along with my favorite cheese toast, cooked pasta for lunch and then cooked hamburgers/potatoes/onions on the little George Foreman grill that we have. Just spoiled me bunches in one day and then I had to come back to work today. I have always believed in God and that He watches over us and takes care of us, but if I didn't, I would after this trip. He smoothed the way going to Florida and coming back home on Tuesday the serpentine belt on my vehicle came off in SW Louisiana just as I was coming into Opelousas (for those who are familiar with that area). The rain was coming down so heavy it was hard to see where you were going, but I was able to take the next exit and go down under the underpass and park the car. I prayed for God to send one His angels to help me and He sent not one but two. Three hours later I was back on the road and had missed the very worst of the bad weather. I made it home about 11:30 that night. I know that each and every one your prayers were there with me and it was so great to be able to feel the love and caring coming from all of you. Thank you so much for everything. Goldenpond, I hope your dad is doing better. My Mom has to use a walker too and it has been really hard for her to accept because she has always been so physically active. God Bless Each and Everyone of You!! Ms. Faith

i think people that spend more money on the saw have to say they are awesome to justify it. i don't know about any of these other saws but my dad has a 311 with a 25" bar and i have a 270 with a 16" bar. have used both a lot. i cut enough wood to heat both mine and my dads house with the two. they are great saws use them all the time and always start always run great love the light weight and power of my 270 and now having owned it would never have spent the extra 120 or so that the 280 cost. and anyway why is everyone comparing the prices of the 270 and such to other saws? were are you getting your saws? i should have gone there because i payed almost msrp for my new 270. i know im poor and all but that is a pricey unit. 450 with tax.

Owbist, I had nooo idea it was called "stitching" --- no wonder I wasn't finding any information! LOL Oh my gosh, Thank you sooo much!!! Mikie, My camera is a 3 year old Kodak Easy Share with basics. I was looking last night at some newer cameras and boy, have they come a long way in just three years! I went to the SourceForge link and the program sounds so easy but I also browsed around at other programs that were there and oh my, I could use a few of them also. lol Thank you so much for that link! CBoy, I will follow your instructions to the letter. They were clear and I understood them. For me, that was step one --- understanding the instructions. LOL Thank you so very much! IowaGirl2006, Wow, no way I would have known those were separate photos --what a great job you do! Thank you so very much for going through the trouble of checking your older version of DIP -- your instructions are perfect! I love my DP9 and I ordered the Anniversary Edition last month because I was informed the Anniversary Ed is the last one and only one that will work on my Vista machine (whenever it gets done). Right now I am playing musical computers --- sons', husband's, daughters'-- but can hardly wait for the machine with Vista to get here so I can load my Anniversary Edition DP. Love the DP program! I know it will take practice to get anywhere near as good as you but just the little I've learned from playing around on my own has helped me and others around me so much with all our photos. The most requested? "Can you remove this huge zit on my face?" Right now I only have DP on this computer (son's) so I wanted to try and practice doing the 'stitching' (what a neat word for it! lol) for a couple days before the music stops and I have to find another chair...errr....I mean, computer without the DP. You guys are the greatest -- Thank you all so very much! I bet you all know what I'll be doing all night long, huh? -- Practice stitching my little heart out. LOL

I have Office 07 and despise it. I have Office 03 on my office computer and will drive in to the office on weekends or at night to write a letter. I only use 07 if I know I won't have to make any changes or mistakes. Office 03 is basically the same old word processing from the early versions. They completely changed everything around in the 07 version. I had letters to write today and spent my Saturday in my office to do them. What I also do is compose letters on Google Docs (which is easy) and download them to Word. Sorry for my rant, but I just hate what Microsoft did to Office 07. BTW, this is how my screen appears on 07. For whatever reason it keeps double-spacing. I have it set to single but it keeps double spacing. I sooo hate this program! Sorry for the rant... Jane
