maire cate, I'm sorry that I missed your question, as I was writing my reply when you asked. I think have most of it out. After the primal scream, I got water and towels right away and scrubbed as hard as I could quickly. That craft paint dries so quickly that I thought I was going to lose three great rugs. There may be a bit left in them, as it's still streaked on the wooden floors, but I hope that 99% of it is gone. Today I caught him chewing something in here and opened his mouth. It was the cap from the paint that he chewed up Sunday. I don't know where he had stashed it, but he can't get it any more.

Okay, get in line. Who wants to get smacked first. LOL I am not a green person in the least. I convinced myself that it was needed since the drapes were gold. The green with the check marks, has a gold tint to it, but not much. Okay, so tomorrow I will go look at gold colors again. I dont want a dark gold, but something with a little pop! If that is possible. If I go with one color only, and lets say it will be gold, do I bring it into the entryway on that wall, or just end it at the column. Any suggestions in the gold family and how light or dark should I go? After searching the golds, I will definitely be considered a "gold digger". Thanks all Susan

Thank you ladies. Deb the classes are held at the local community centre. The teacher is a landscape artist who takes us through a picture a week step by step - he stands at the front and paints and we copy him. Lots of fun. The flowers on canvas was a one off thing just so we could experience something different, next week it will be back to landscapes on wooden boards :)I love the effect of the background with the canvas - it absorbs the paint faster than wood.
