I think this product sounds very odd. I googled it because I had never heard of such a thing. Sadly, it reminds me of the "spray hair" remedy for baldness that was seen in informercials a while back. I also found out from my brief google investigation that the ingredients are a "trade secret", which means god-only-knows what you would be putting on your soil. I suspect a good raking of the present mulch with a thin new layer would be a better solution. Honestly, I don't know how much cheaper it would be to buy this "mulch magic" instead of, say, a yard of mulch (In my ridiculously expensive part of the Connecticut, a yard of good natural cedar is about 45.00, perfectly fine pine is only about 30.00 a yard.) A yard of mulch goes a long way, especially when thinly spread. Some well-chosen bargain plants, along with divisions from friends and neighbors would probably give enough "oomph" to satisfy for now.

Metals eh? Now my chemist antennae are up. Rit has a page on 'Rit Dye Pigments' but it comes up blank for me at the moment. No metals. Mordant dyes combine an organic molecule with a metal to form a salt (mordanting) in the form of an insoluble colored complex ('lake') that precipitates in the fibers and stays there. These materials are usually used for the dyeing of cotton, wool or other protein fiber. The metallic precipitate is formed in the fiber producing very fast colors highly resistant to both light and washing. My conclusion is that many, if not most, fabric dyes do not have metals in them. Also of note is that the Safety Data Sheet for RIT Fabric Dye does not list any toxic ingredients, suggesting the RIT dyes do not contain potassium dichromate. This would make sense because where does the used dye solution go? Down the drain. Which is not the proper place for chromium. They wouldn't want their customers stuck with gallons of hazardous waste. Still wouldn't use them for dying mulch. They are likely not very weather proof, for starters.

Carbona makes a color run remover that might work, as it has a pretty good reputation. Drying the jeans may have heat-set the color, but you have nothing to lose at this point. Chapman for me has had firm, smooth, uniform, wide fruit that are about 2lbs, with excellent texture and taste when watered well (a really nice tomato for enormous sandwiches). When not watered well, it was a little mealy, and not quite as large or productive, but still smooth, firm and large. I got my seeds from Cole_Robbie of TV. Perhaps this was midseason to late for me. George Detsikas Italian Red was much tastier and more prolific with less water, but it got very large fruit either way. I got mine from Marsha of TV. It had smoother, more uniform fruit when watered more the first year, and a beefsteak shape the next year when I watered it less. I wouldn't call it early, but it's definitely early for its size. It's probably on the early side of midseadon. I've only grown Cuostralee once, watered a fair amount. It reminds me of a giant-fruited (about 2lbs), later Matina, with somewhat milder taste, and RL foliage. It was doing quite well, and was setting fruit nicely at the end of the season, but it was late for me compared with most varieties. I got my seeds from timeless-tomatoes.com. The fruit were pretty smooth and uniform. PBTD quite underperformed for me the first year, when watered well (it did have medium-sized fruit, but it was so late that I'm not sure if it was done growing), and fantastic (and decently early) the second year, not watered much. I got my original seed from Tormato of TV who got it from someone (seeds were marked 2013). Mine didn't have much hang-time in 2017, but in 2016 I harvested them before they were fully ripe (and they were still quite firm). In 2017, the taste was sweet, but mild; it was extremely juicy, and would have made a great juice tomato. I liked it more for its production than taste, but it did taste good. In 2016, the taste was unripe, but mild; it was decent for the ripeness level.
