Some of the fragrant crApe myrtles: 'Apalachee' - widely reported as fragrant 'Biloxi' - at least one source reports this one as fragrant 'Muskogee' - at least one source reports this one as fragrant 'Natchez' - at least one source reports this one as fragrant 'Near East' - a few sources list this one as fragrant 'Whit I' (Raspberry Sundae) - widely reported as fragrant I think quite a few crApe myrtles have a light scent if you stick your nose up in a flower cluster, but few have a strong scent that you would smell when just walking by.

How to remove perfume smell from perfume bottle

I have successfully removed stubborn smells from jars by filling them with a solution of acetic acid (strong white vinegar) and hot water and letting them stand until the water has cooled. I haven't tried it on perfume smells, but it's worth a shot. You may need to repeat the treatment a couple of times before the smell is completely gone.

Harvey - I agree. It reminds me of a nobile. I am pretty sure the center color is from the trantuanii. This hybrid is much, much easier to bloom than a nobile. My nobile just looks at me year after year. No flowers or keikis. Only new grow. Eve - You will love the trantuanii when it blooms. I have two. The color is delicate but the substance is heavy. Old Rose Perfumes - can you still get them?

Yardley's used to make a rose scented hard soap but I haven't seen it in ages. I have found a very fragrant, long lasting rose soap in my favorite small oriental grocery store alongside the sandlewood hard soap. Recently I found a rose soap from the same company in Germany that still manufactures 4711 echte kolnish wasser. The rose scented water at that same oriental grocery store has only a limited life even when refrigerated, but when first opened is wonderful. None of these are perfumes. There used to be a custom perfume company in the French Quarter in NOLA, one of their owners died and We've been gone from there for two decades. Hove still is there although they moved from their earlier store; friends have been going there for decades.

Yes Carol,
I worked 4 hours on a repair project outside, plus cut the grass because I can't figure out what I want to do on my carpentry job to finish it up.
They said rain today so I didn't give another coat of paint which I could have! Darn!

Finally got to doing it. Thanks for the link Sue. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the animation in the bottle it looks like something is hitting her in the chest, doesn't it?
