Garbo & Gable Tut -No extra filters needed

Obviously not G&G. But I just thought the looks of this was so beautiful. I used a picture of my daughter when she was little. I saved a copy before animating to print for her, it turned out great. Now to work on finding a good picture of my other daughter to do the same.

Need help please! Decisions on new Lennox heat pump system
Q

Hi Neo, I guess that's where we run into a problem - we're just not sure if we're paying a fair amount for the labor/material for the ductwork, but it seems like we'll just have to go on instinct on this one. The installer from Costco won't give us the cost of just the Lennox equipment, so we don't have that number as well =( I will definitely verify about the evap coil and the valv - good to know! The XP17 is a single stage - initially we looked at a 2 stage, but we didn't see the need for it, so decided on the XP17. Here's the electric rates for our area: Basic charge $7.00 per month Delivery charge 2.887 cents per kWh Energy charge, Winter (November through April billing cycles) First 800 kWh 4.356 cents per kWh Next 2,200 kWh 6.001 cents per kWh Over 3,000 kWh 7.220 cents per kWh Energy charge, Summer (May through October billing cycles) First 800 kWh 4.356 cents per kWh Next 900 kWh 6.001 cents per kWh Over 1,700 kWh 7.220 cents per kWh Given that we rarely go below freezing for sustained periods - I think a heat pump is perfect for our climate too (nor do we get heat extremes). Also, since we have NO heat at night typically (we turn the pellet stoves off), I think we'll be happy with even a cool 62 in our house! Thanks again for your help!

Carol, In a different tut I too had problems with the drop shadow turning ugly (dark) after I animated it....it turned out that I had to reset my optimization settings... See if this will help with your dark edges... Open A/S....open a new canvas and draw a line on it...this will get the settings to stick... Then click File....Optomization Wizard.....Next...Customize button...Partial Transparancy Tab...now you want to change the blend color from black to white. Then keep hitting Next till you get to Finish and hit that too.... But you're right, its pretty as is... : )) FlutteringBy

PSP filters-plugins
Q
Comments (34)
Dar, The problem is, you have this path... C:\pspStuff\Texturizer\filter It needs to be this path... C:\pspStuff Mine is C:\PSPStuff\PlugIns because I have another sub folder there. And I don't have the 3rd box checked...Limit loaded plug-in files... But that's not the reason this isn't working. It's your path. When I said in my inst. "So the path to one of my folders and one of the files in it is this..."C:\PSP Stuff\PlugIns\Xenofex\Xenofex .exe" That was just to show you where one is. What I said in the next line in my above inst. was how you enable the path. That was this... Find the path to where you created your new plugin /filter FOLDER. Highlight it and then click OK at the box. Don't forget to close and re-open psp for the filters to take effect. About the .exe question. Most plug-in filters don't come with an executable file (.exe). If they do, then double click on it to install it, and make SURE that you direct it to install to the folder you want it in. Just read all the boxes carefully as they pop up before clicking next. But most don't have an exe file. You just extract the zip file to the folder it's in and that's it, as long as you have that folder enabled in psp. And about having one filter in your psp plug-in folder. That's okay. A few there won't hurt. But if you want to move it, just copy and paste them all to the new folder, then delete it out of the psp folder AFTER you paste it in the new one. Or you can drag and drop it in the new one. I hope all of this helps hon! :·)) -:¦:- ) ¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) ~Summer ((¸¸.·´ .·´ ( -:¦:- ((·:

Need Dryer Recommendations for Speed Queen Washer
Q
Comments (17)
mamapinky0 Can you give me a link to the SQ thread? I'll be more than happy to post there. I am still new to houzz, sorry. mrb6228 the max depth in my laundry closet is 31". With the dryer vent attached, I need at least 4" clearance in the back. Width isn't an issue. ci_lantro the dryerbox would be ideal but I am not able to tear down a wall to install this. My understanding is that's the only way it can be done. Am I correct? plllog I can't make modifications to my wall and it's not a new build. Right now I am just focusing on getting the SQ washer and will settle for a non SQ dryer. When I have more space, then I can get the SQ dryer.

Thank you. I thought I would give it a try with this picture, it is just a lot of resizing of the mask, photo, tulip background, to make it work in order to have a size large enough to print. My parents 60th anniversary is in August, so that was my original plan for a picture of them. This was more the trial version, but it came out so well I will have to do one for my oldest also.

Urlee they turned out beautiful!!! I couldn't figure out why mine seemed so much duller then yours. It was probably because I resized the annimation so much, do you think?

Judy,
Nothing wrong with that! Of course it is done the "Bentley way".

Carol, Your looks ok? I resized mine at 80% like she says.
Did you do the inner bevel and drop shadow on the outside frame?

Urlee- any idea why my coloring is that way? I tried both version 7 & 8 and couldn't get the browner color.

Did you go to Artistic Effects and click on Sepia Toning?
Did you get this info?

Nope I don't get that. When I check the color depth they are all grayed out.

Judy, yours looks fine! I can even see a little color in the tulip. I do prefer the sepia coloring though with that particular border color.
Urlee,I did, at least I think I did the drop shadow on the outside frame. I had started out with making it for an approximately 5x7 print, so I think I ended up resizing it 50% for the copy I wanted to animate. The print came out somewhat more colorful like yours.
I really liked that tut.

When I do the sepia tone to the tulip this is what I get.
Why does it have those spots on it?

Checking my color thingy I see this.
