Don't want to lurke

I have been lurking here for sometime now. I would love to

try some of the wonderful tuts you ladies are doing. Do I

need to join to be able to use your tuts, or just dive right in? I am a "paying member". Although I don't know what that means anymore. arosegirl

Hey CarrieB, About a year ago, there was a forum here called "The Single Life". It was fun to post on, and it was chock full of posts about dating, relationships, ups and downs, break ups, etc. The forum was yanked because it became more like a chat room. Only certain people would post and "talk" to each other; they would post the strangest things, not even dealing with singledom. Things like, jokes, surveys, poster-to-poster messages not even dealing with a single's life. I really, really, really wish that Spike would consider having a forum to deal with relationships. I lurk like mad on this Marriage forum, but I am not married - just in a committed relationship. I feel like I "cannot" post here because I don't have the piece of paper or ring on the finger (which I don't want). I lurk like mad, and post on, the Stepfamily forum; even though I am not married and not 'in' a Stepfamily. But there are enough issues in my life that I need to lurk/post in that forum, because the people there are living the same life. Maybe Spike will consider a dating or singles forum. Just because we are "single" does not mean we will start up some lanky, moronic chat room like the others did a year or so ago. We just have our own set of issues that we'd like to post on (I know I do!) and in the Marriage / Stepfamily forum, it's not really right. - darkeyedgirl

No. Don't waste your time and money to buy his book, if all you are interested in is more recipes. What a crazy brain this guy has! I absultely urge everyone, expecially if you have children or grandchildren, to look him up in YouTube and see him in action. What this country needs is more people as creative as he is. I have corresponded with him in another WEB site. He is a geek with a great sense of humor also. Regarding links. I admit I have been lazy. I post in a few other forums. Each one has a different way of doing things. I just don't bother trying to remember. Also, sometimes I post from different locations and I don't always have my files with me. I want to add shelves to an amour, but I don't want to drill holes

We did this with an old amour. We cut shelves out of wood to the size to fit and then screwed a "leg" made out of 1"x1" wood on each corner of the new shelf (like legs). these just "stacked" inside the amour and since the supports were in the corners they did not show much and did not get in the way. You may need to use a good 1/2" or thicker shelf material so it will not bow if you put too much weight on it.

I haven't updated my site for a long time but I used to put the tuts we did here on there with a link to the tutorial.
You might enjoy seeing some of those and getting idea. I apologise in advance for any broken links.

AND SUE! That is, was, such a wonderful site you did of our loooong struggle through learning PSP, to look back on.
I wish I would have had the brains to do that or to do what I just started to do in keeping files of the tuts!

Some day, I am going to look back at my notebook to see the ones I did. Yes, I did print them all out to do but not the URL in case I can look them up and didn't save the tut to a file I now have called "Tutes". I really have a neat system now where I can at least find things pertaining to the tutorials. They have their own little folder of the supplies needed where before, I used to dump them all in ONE file and didn't know what to look for?
Sorry to ramble on but it's "Urlee" and I have a lot of wind, "LOL" "Good morning"
