Why is my "flipped" welcome moving around like this.

No idea but you got further than me! LOL
I have no idea what "drag down layers" means - that's why I didn't follow the tut for the scarey face as it was written similar.

Hopefully someone can help us both. In the meantime you can share my wine and cookies as we wander lost together.

Hi Girls, I just wanted to let you know that I also joined
GI Graphics. I read some where that I need a patch? If I
have windows xp and sp2, am I right?

I just cooked chicken breasts to take to our church to be made into pounds and pounds of chicken salad for our Christmas fundraiser. Here's the method I used...it worked perfectly. How To Cook Moist & Tender Chicken Breasts Every Time What You Need Ingredients 1 to 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, of similar size Salt and freshly ground black pepper 1 tablespoon olive oil, unsalted butter, or combination of both Equipment Heavy Mason jar or wide drinking glass Wide (10-inch) sauté pan with lid Tongs or spatula Instructions Flatten the chicken breasts: Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness with the bottom of a wide jar or glass. You can also (carefully!) use the handle of a heavy chef's knife. Season the chicken breasts: Lightly salt and pepper the chicken breasts. Prepare the pan: Heat the sauté pan over medium-high heat. When it is quite hot, add the olive oil (or butter, if using). Swirl the pan so it is lightly covered with the olive oil. Cook the chicken breasts for 1 minute without moving: Turn the heat to medium. Add the chicken breasts. Cook for just about 1 minute to help them get a little golden on one side (you are not actually searing or browning them). Flip the chicken breasts: Then flip each chicken breast over. Turn the heat down to low: Turn the heat to low. Cover the pan and cook on low for 10 minutes. Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Set a timer for 10 minutes, and walk away. Do not lift the lid; do not peek. Turn off the heat and let sit for an additional 10 minutes: After 10 minutes have elapsed, turn off the heat. (If you have an electric stove, remove the pan from the heat.) Reset the timer for 10 minutes and leave the chicken breasts in the pan. Again, do not lift the lid; do not peek. Remove lid and take temperature: After the 10 minutes are up, take the lid off, and your chicken is done. Make sure there is no pink in the middle of the chicken breasts. If you want to be absolutely sure it is cooked, you can use an instant-read thermometer to check (the chicken should be at least 165°F). Slice and eat. Hi Averil, here are some Arabicum pics for you......they are of the Bouquet variety and from seeds that Rick kindly gifted to me. In the pic below it may not be that clear but the left hand plant does show branches growing in most directions but the centre and right hand plants only have arms in just one plane! The left one has 5 really bulbous branches and looks very different to the other two. Guess they don't look so leafless really but this is the best they've looked and are different to my obesums. The leaves often get damaged and grow deformed as if glued together when emerging. None have been pinched out at any time. Gill UK

Everybody talks about too much N. Let's discuss too much N. In the gardens, I toss organics, and feed weekly with my own mix (mostly urea) at a rate of 0.25 pounds of N per week per thousand square feet. It's a grand total of well over 2 pounds N per month, or far beyond the recommendation. The pots...succulents, perennials, and bulbs are treated rather gently and with organic feeding. Annuals I feed the absolute heck out of. Miracle-Gro plus organics every two weeks. Plus some other stuff I throw in, like some extra urea. And kelp. The result of "too much" N is a lot of blooms--just on gigantic plants (photo below of a strictly average year, August 10th). The difference here is that I've had the soil tested, balanced the garden soil to a decent pH of 6.3 (with a proper calcium-magnesium-potassium ratio, or, don't use a home test which tells you exactly nothing about the right balance), set the phosphorus levels high and balanced other resources high to compensate for phosphorus antagonism, etc. It's not everybody's cup of tea, and some plants absolutely do object to too much N. But...most don't. And in the past, petunias, lantanas, have all been amongst those in my garden that haven't. Actually, ask me about the three foot tall lantana with the tap root I couldn't get out for two years. Gorgeous. Sturdy. Never repeated.

Revlon One Step Brush Dryer - what am I doing wrong?

Thank you all! Sorry I have been MIA ... i have a nasty stomach bug that hit right about when I posted this. Yup, I watched all the videos .. I know how to use a round brush to get volume with a standard dryer. I realized though that I use the small round brush at the root -- and the larger one on the ends. That may be the issue. I do note that revlon carries a One Step Root Booster which is a smaller diameter round brush. That may be the ticket. I also note that in all the videos of women with very fine hair like mine, they do not get much volume! Their hair looks sleek and shiny (as does mine) but no real volume, especially at the top. It may not be the solution for hair like mine! It doesn't help that I was too busy to get a hair appt this month so I don't have the added booster of highlights to add volume. :( I am thrilled that it works for so many of you-- and for those with the bobs, maybe the root booster with the round barrel will work for you? I am not sure if I will give it a try ... maybe. For now, I am going back to bed :)

I had a hard time following those directions so I kind of made mine up as I went along!! haha
I think when she says drag down she means drag that layer to the bottom of the layer list.

LOL well why doesn't she just say "move layer to bottom of list?!" LOL

Gloria I got confused at the duplicate and flip name part.
I think I'll use Judy's as a guide and try to make it up as I go along.

Yes you'll need the patch for any tutorial longer than one page or when you click NEXT it will give you "page not found" error.

LOL I think we need to look for EASIER tuts.

WOW! I couldn't even get past the "merge" part?
After you merge, she says to open the mirror?
How in the heck can you open the mirror when it got merged?

That one sure takes the cake!!!!
Shame on her cause that is what I succumbed to!
I went grocery shopping, bought a tiny German Chocolate cake and ate the whole damn thing!
And Sue, don't you dare ask how my diet is coming?

LOL Urlee I'm proud of you - I would have bought a BIG cake and a bottle of wine!!

I gave up but Mandy is really good with animation so she made it for me - three cheers for our brilliant daughter!
Even Mandy agreed the tut was impossible to follow so she just did it her own way - please don't ask how as I have no idea but she sure did good. :)
