Congratulations! Is there anything more precious than buying clothes for a baby girl I ask you? We have some memorable birth dates in my family, too. Nephew on 2/29, cousin on 10/31, cousin on 12/25, and my one and only precious niece, on 9/11 (she turned 3 on that fateful day).

How cool is that? Sharp watch. Rich have a brother? JK

I had originally planned a stay at The Georgian Terrace in Atlanta with a few activities and dinner at Livingston’s but canceled because the restaurant is STILL not open for dinner since their pandemic closing. We substituted a trip elsewhere a couple of weeks ago, and, thankfully, still had the club reservations I made as a backup. As a rule we don’t care for crowds either but over the years have enjoyed looking at all the couples celebrating Valentine’s Day and wondering about their stories and lives. The first timers are usually easy to spot 🙂

Your table is beautiful! I love the colors— had a suit in the 1980’s that was pink and navy and wore it out. It’s so lovely to see someone using their china and silver ❤️ I have set our table for the Sunday after Valentine’s for our family dinner. It’s very similar to last year; I haven’t gotten out all the hearts and special accessories yet. The settings with preschool grandchildren are by necessity more engaging than elegant.
