help using below grade under stair storage for wine?

We have a 1970's split level in Seattle area. We enjoy wine and so I was wondering if we could make the area below the stairway into a wine storage area. Because it's below grade, the temperature remains fairly constant. Long term storage (more than 3 years) isn't important to us, as we rarely have more than 5 cases of wine at a time.

Are there long drawers we could purchase to install under the stairs, accessing from the garage? DH would have to frame it out, and put in a door for access.

In the photo, it's the area below the front door and window. max height is about 30" thus drawers. Currently our wine is in rollout drawers in cabinets in the family room, put there as a temporary solution while we were in the midst of a remodel. I've found that I can lay bottles end to end in a 24" deep rollout drawer. We'll be heating the family room at some point, thus wanting cooler storage for the wine.
