I know this thread is old, but I was able to get the label off by first tearing it off, then scraping the paper residue off with my fingernail and water, then getting the adhesive off with a small amount of peanut butter. It took a little while. I think I used a damp paper towel to scrub the peanut butter. Be sure not to get any of the peanut butter on the fabric shade. Worked like a charm, and no scratches. BTW, when I called levolor customer service, I was told it was OK to remove the label on a cordless shade. The label that needs to stay for warranty is the white ID label on the back or interior of the header. The two labels on the bottom pull bar can be removed. (Warning label should stay if corded.)

I'm considering ordering Prestige cellular shades for my bedroom. The ones I'm looking at are 3/8 inch double honeycomb style. The outer (toward the street) side is gray and the inner side is whatever color you choose. The idea is that the gray makes it more opaque without going for the full blackout shades that are foil lined. We need something close to blackout, but the white foil-lined samples seem to show the foil through and look grayish/bluish which I hate. I have a sample and like the material, but there are no local dealers where I can try the cord mechanism. I hate it when shades bind or get tangly. I would order something I'm able to try, but all the usual (Hunter Douglas, Levolor, Bali, etc.) don't have this room darkening double cellular option. Has anyone bought Prestige brand cellular shades or know if they are made by one of the more well-known companies as another line? In the early days of cell phone service, my wife had signed with Sprint because they advertised wide US coverage at a reasonable cost. I borrowed her phone for a trip downstate Illinois and ran into no service. The phone was finding cell towers but dropped almost immediately. Upon returning home, we did searching to see what the problem might have been. We were furious when we found the answer. Sprint did not have US wide coverage. The coverage they had was within 15 miles of most of the interstate highway system. That might have been useful for truckers, but no good for general usage. We felt that we had been taken. Sprint was dropped and we have never considered again. It could be different at present. I don't have a smart phone, but have a flip phone. I am using Verizon and have been satisfied with it. I started a low cost contract with it and continue it at present. That contract is no longer offered, therefore. if I let my contract expire, it could not be restarted. My cell phone bill is about $100 per year plus sales tax and that is why I keep it alive. It works this way: The first $100 buys a quantity of hours for a year period. If you run low before the year is passed, you can purchase more time. To keep the contract alive, you have to renew the contract each year on or before the expiration day. Since I do not use all the allotted air time in one year, the remaining amount rolls over into the next contract. Due to this, I now have about 150 hours available. I have found wide coverage with it. Rarely, have I been denied service. Most of the time when it fails, its because I'm too far away from a cell tower. That only happens in remote, unpopulated places. I do like my phone. It has become a security blanket. It has been used to call AAA, and to call home when delayed or a witness to an accident.
