pendant lights yeah or no way
Comments (19)Oh my I see this has been rejuvenated! I ended up with another thread because I kept finding potential lights. It's funny because the one luckytiff liked, I did like but no one else seemed to think it belonged... I ended up ordering this one about a month ago and of course, it is out of stock everywhere, but will be shipped in mid april which is now not so far away. As for the height, they will be over the island only, and I plan to hang them on the high side.(if I remember correctly, they should typically be between 30-40" from the countertop. mine will be that but towards the higher spectrum)...See MorePendant light placement
Comments (7)We did both: I wanted the island pendant to be lower, but a certain electrician decided I didn't really mean that. These are Ikea pendants, and were meant to be placeholders. We like them a lot, but they were cheap enough that we may one day replace them with the pricey ones we originally liked....See Morelighting designers... putting pendant at different plain by soffit
Comments (2)I was planning on changing that black iron fixture. It is actually installed 27 in above my eating table. Thank you but I want to go with the pendant look sooo bad. I need lighting over my workspace island....See Morekitchen lighting pot lights, under cabinet lighting, pendant lights
Comments (21)The type of lighting that is typically on its own switch includes pendant lights and over sink lights. This allows for more control over the lighting in specific areas of the kitchen. In terms of combining lights, you can consider combining the under cabinet lighting with the pot lights to provide overall ambient lighting in the kitchen. The pendant lights over the seated counter can be combined with the over sink light to create a focused task lighting area for food preparation or other activities at the counter. For the room size of 10'x16', having 6 pot lights should provide adequate lighting coverage. For outlet locations, it is recommended to have outlets installed along the countertops for convenient use of small appliances. Additionally, consider adding outlets near the seated counter for charging devices or using small appliances while seated. Be sure to follow local electrical codes and regulations when determining outlet locations....See Moremaddielee
