I can't show you a picture of our kitchen, but we centered one of the pendants linked below over our sink and the triple window behind it in the 7-1/2' wide space between our cabinets.

gibby--what a beautiful window! In my room, you will look over the island to the window wall, which is why I thought that the pendants would look better there.

To abbycat: Wonderful place you have!!! I'm thinking if I were there. I find it simple but so relaxing and combined with your beautiful hanging lights.
