that price sounds a bit on the high side, but if it is a complete restoration - engine rebuilt the right way, the rest of the mechanical work done properly, then this is indeed a great tractor and good price. Consider an engine rebuild on a Farmall Cub at somewhere around $1700.00. That doesn't include the rest of the tractor maintenance. Now, add in at least $750.00 for a finish mower, and soon you'll see how much closer you're coming to your original figure. This is a work horse of a tractor. If taken care of, it should outlast you and your significant other by a good margin. Grab it while you can.

The toilet thread was the first thread I did..I think. Instead of getting helpful opinions which I welcomed openly, all I got was how nasty it is to decorate around the toilet,then the whole thread turned into a joke, at my expense. Now that is where you are wrong oakley. I didn't see anything that happened in that thread being directed at you. This reminds me of my daughter when she was in high school. She was always so sure that everyone was looking at her, and judging her (typical teenage angst). I told her that everyone else was too busy worrying about what other people thought of them and not to worry about it. Really and truly I don't believe that people here dislikes you or is waiting to pounce on you. We all say or do things on occasion that aren't exactly what we intended, and it is especially difficult to interpret the written word as the the writer intended. That's why smilies where invented! ;)

Many people have posted positive experiences using Alan Ferguson to order deeply discounted Lee Industries furniture but when I did a dealer search using AF zip code...27260....they were not listed as one of the authorized dealers. The Lee Industries website indicates that for the warranty to work you have to go through the "authorized" Lee dealer. Does this mean that AF is not authorized? Has anyone had any recent warranty work done on their Lee pieces through AF? Also, a few of the newer posts are beginning to suggest that online sales at Alan Ferguson aren't what they used to be. On the questions I have emailed them I have been sent very curt answers and once no answer at all. All of these things are making me leary but the idea of huge savings is still tempting me. Any enlightenment would be great. Thank you in advance.

Alan Ferguson's is an interior design firm as opposed to a furniture retailer. They do not carry every furniture brand but they do carry Lee. How do I know? Because I asked them if they carried other brands over the phone and they told me that they are really an interior design firm. They said Lee is the cheapest line they recommend and they recommend it ALOT which is why they are able to give good prices, but their primary business is interior design. Normally, I would not recommend ordering from anyplace other that your local retailer, but I would not hesitate to order from them as you will get great customer service and great prices.
