Wrinkle reducer?

If you know the secret please share! I'm starting to get wrinkles under my eyes....not at the corners like crows feet, but bags and wrinkles under my eyes. I hate it and so far nothing has worked. I have tried variuos wrinkle creams and nothing has really made it any better. I know there has to be an answer! DH has been obsessed with fighting wrinkles for years, he's has tried more creams than me, I haven't showed any signs until this past year. I hate getting old looking.....I didn't think it would bother me until it happened! I have never been a vain person, DH is LOL....he'll try any new cream he sees...again no major results.

Got the secret???

LOL- I was going to suggest hanging the clothes on the line. I have been pleasantly surprised at the lack of ironing needed now that I can hang stuff out.

Sorry, no help on the skin wrinkles!

Thanks for the tips. Still looking for more. I have not tried reducing my spin speed yet. I will try that today. One selling point the salesman used to get me to buy the more expensive B850 machine was the faster spin speed. LOL I am also wondering if a particular washer setting will be less wrinkly. I won't use fabric softners or dryer sheets. They are not healthy per the kid's doctors. Boy all this work. With my old machine, I stuffed the clothes down in the washer. When I took them out I grabbed a big bunch and just threw them in the dryer. Maytag spoiled me all those years and now they can't compete with their own product. Now I have to load each item individually in both the washer and dryer and even shake them when putting them in the dryer. That helps a little with the thin clothes (still not completely wrinkle free but close enough), but not the thick clothes like pants and jeans. Those are still coming out very wrinkled.

I should have taken a before picture but I didn't like the way I looked. The lines around my mouth were quite deep and the ones around my eyes were getting worse. I still have some on my upper lip but it looks much better than before I started using this. I did put on some L'Oreal Youth Code after the Neutrogena this morning but even without it there is a huge difference, it says you will see a difference in a week but I didn't expect it to make that much difference. Jodi, that is the correct URL. Sorry, I should have checked it but my DD was waiting for me to go out so I was hurrying. There are several sites that have reviews on it. One 20 year old girl said she didn't see any difference. Are you kidding me?! A 20 year old doesn't have any deep wrinkles. It doesn't smell nice but it's not bad. The Retinal makes it work and I've heard doctors say that going back to the serum that we used to use works much better. If it burns you should use it every other day. You can surprise your family and friends for the holidays if you start using this now I hope it works as well for you. .

My dermatologist recommended CeraVe. I use the moisturizing lotion on my face, morning and night -- haven't tried the one with sunblock. I slather the moisturizing cream (in a jar) all over the rest of me after I bathe. (And I do mean *slather*.) I know the cream is intended for the face, but I don't care. I like this much better than Lubriderm or any oil. She also recommended Cetaphil body wash, but it leaves a sort of greasy feel. I was told to avoid hot baths -- not doing that either. (Bad patient.) Maybe it I 'cut' the Cetaphil with baking soda, like Sushipup... Who has something good for the cuticles? Mine want to take over my nails. I can't push them back without bleeding -- even after a bath -- and then they won't stay back. There's no 'give' there. At 75, my skin is too thin. Well, *I* am too thin, too. BTW, it's my understanding that we have skin to form a protective *barrier*. This means none of the products you put ON your skin go much beyond the surface. Some of the products 'rough up' (destroy) the top layer of cells so that they slough off faster (the 'glow'), but a 'moisturizer' can really only put a layer of protection between your skin and the drying air. 'Moisturizers' that promise more should probably all be labeled "Hope" or "Faith" or "The Power of Positive Thinking" because our protective layer of skin won't let them penetrate. They can only help keep drying air away from whatever moisture is IN the skin.

LOL....you guys are funny! I'd like to throw my head in the dryer...that's how I IRON! I'd be afraid of a facelift....seen so many horrible ones lately! I think I'd rather have the wrinkles in the long run!

I use Frownies facial pads. I use the ones for your forehead and above your mouth. You sleep with them on and I do see a difference in the morning. They have ones for around your eyes but I'm hesitant to use those as you have to peel them off in the morning. Don't want to tug on that skin area anymore than need be! They now also have a cream which I would think you could use separate from the pads which might be worth a try around your eyes. I haven't tried the cream yet.

My feeling is it is genetic. I don't have many wrinkles or a double chin (79), but neither did my mother. I think two of my daughters will because they take after their father's side of the family, wrinkles, jowls, etc.

Did you ever look at pictures of the Kennedy sisters? They all have very wrinkled faces in their old age.

Also, do you and your husband smoke? That can be the cause of heavy wrinkles in old age.

Gwanny, I am getting those wrinkles and bags too and lately it is really bugging me.Think I'll look into Grandma Bonnies Preparation H suggestion.

No he doesn't smoke...he quit in 1987. He has always loved the sun though and I know that is really bad...he's going to pay the price now I'm afraid. He still doesn't have many wrinkles, but he thinks he does. He's always had great skin. I told him it's just age...not much you can do to stop it. My mom didn't really wrinkle until she was in her late 70's and my dad never really did at all. I hope it's genetic! DH's parent's both died when they were still young, so we have no idea what they would have been like. His grandmother however looked great until she died at the age of 91...she swore by Oil of OLay for years..to this day if I smell it I think of her...but I hate the smell! Not because of her, it just stinks to me! She did look good though!

I do agree, the Kennedy sister all are very wrinkled.

I have preparation H for just this reason...tried it years ago...but not long enough I guess...we should try it again, I heard it works and it's the secret of the models!

You could gain some weight! LOL

I have 2 sisters. One is built short and wide like me, the other has always been the tall slim one. One day Miss skinny asked both of us how we get rid of our wrinkles....LOL..... After the two of us giving each other "the stare" we both told her we just fill ours out! LOL

I have oily skin. My beauty secret is I love my skin. I have a few crinkles at the outside corners, but my oil is a great natural moisturizer. I guess it makes up for the acne I suffered as a teen. Oh Hayjud...I love your answer! LOL....But if I filled them in I'd pop! Too funny....I told my DH I'm afraid to lose too much weight because we can't afford to have all the excess skin taken off....I don't want to live the rest of my life tucking myself into my clothes! Easier to stay "filled in"! Of course it's a cop out...I'd love to lose pounds!

A warning about Preparation H. Don't buy it in a local store. Only the Canadian version has the ingredient in it that helps reduce wrinkles. I don't remember the reason the company removed it from the American version other than something to do with the FDA causing a stink about the company wanting to start promoting it is an anti-aging cream and telling them they need to prove it.

Apparently you can purchase the Canadian version on Amazon.

hey, I just checked the ingredients online for the canadian version, they are the same. At least it is for the gel, which is what I was always read was the one to use for under eye bags. Hmm.
