Thank you from DFN's family

On behalf of Dok, Willie, DH & I, we want to say how much all of the kind words, thoughts and prayers, have meant to us. She did go peacefully, with Dok, Willie, her sisters Vicky and Crystal at her side. We all said we could picture our son, Brian meeting her when she got to heaven and gave her a big bear hug, saying "HI, Sis." The services for Harrietta will be Saturday. Dok and Willie are holding up quite well, although the next few weeks, I'm sure will be hard. I just love to tell the story about how she & Scott met in collage, but that was after they were well into their 30's after both going through divorces and trying to improve their lives. She had been left by a very abusive husband (or actually she made him leave) and she was left with 4 small kids to raise in a small mobile home. She had told me that sometimes food was in short supply and a couple times she had to shoot a deer so they had meat on the table. She worked at any jobs she could find to support her kids. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Actually she was the one who signed me up and paid for my first membership here on the Garden Web. We had just moved to the area and I didn't know anyone and she knew I was lonesome and thought I would enjoy the KT and other sites. Oh how right she was!

Again, Thank You KT family. Your kindness will never be forgotten and I am going to print out all of your condolences for Dok & Willie to read.

Sincerely and with love, Dottie
