I just posted this for Anne's sister, and I'll paste it here. My sister just finished radiation treatments for her 2nd round of breast cancer. She had a lumpectomy on both of them. Followed by chemo on the first one, (16 yrs ago). The 2nd one was caught very early, and is called breast calcification. It's like little flecks/freckles of it in an area. They did the lumpectomy on it, but the Dr. didn't get the clear margins he wanted, so she had to go back right after Christmas and have more taken out until he was satisfied with the margins. Also, my daughter chose the mastectomy about 4 years ago, along with the reconstruction at the same time. Hers was breast calcification, and caught very early. Leslie

I think its important as a single person to just get "out and about". I too enjoy my freedom yet would love a healthy, close relationship. My goal this year, for the first time in my 51 years of life, is to seek people out, to feed my need for belonging. I truly enjoy my own company, but we all need to get out and socialize... I agree that our New Year's resolutions should be processes...baby steps!

The area is very hot and dry and there is alot of dry forest around which when flames hit burn very quickly. The main highway is closed until it is safer for everyone. At one point it jumped the highway. Thankfully it is close to some lakes where the water bombers and helicopters can fill their buckets. Kelowna is the largest city near it and their sky is thick with smoke. The surrounding area has no more available hotel, motel accommodation as it is all booked with holiday travellers, sports groups etc. I understand traffic was backed up for quite a while. There were alternate routes to by-pass the fire area for travellers but still it is not a good situation for anyone. I am still hoping Dolly and her family are OK - she did have a niece in a town quite close and out of the fire area so I hope her family just packed up the motorhome and are sitting in her niece's driveway. Is XO the name of the product? An old cat marked a corner on my basement carpet. I will try this product to remove the stains. I swear by Aslett's shower cleaner. It is amazing and has no harsh chemicals. It's a citrus based product and it dissolves even the nastiest shower scum. I have a few spots in the basement where an old cat marked his territory. I will definately try this product. Lori
