My husband and I have decided to call each other Gary and Elaine as a secret signal when one of us is being over-the-top controlling about a household issue. Because, alas, sometimes we really are Gary and Elaine. Sigh.

I burst out laughing once I located the ball of twine; magazine stylists don't realize how cute although ridiculous are some of the things they casually place.

I have 3 outdoor pots that I "hide" under my coffee table in the winter; the colors match , but I can imagine I would be laughed at by that blogger, lol.....

I kinda havent really looked at catalogs too much, but now I will! but not like the advertiser hopes!

And I am googling for a wish tree. I hope they come in different colors. Can anyone show me a photo of how it looks in your room? And hey, perhaps I can use the twine on it for garland as a personal touch. googling hangman noose....

This is flat out hilarious, thanks for posting, and I have to admit, mr. sandyponder and I also resemble Gary and Elaine at times. Thankfully we have little ms. sandyponder around to jolt us our of our obsession with a well placed tween eye roll or sigh.

The figs under the table was my favorite.

Each one was funnier than the next, laughed so hard I have tears streaming down my face. It reminded me of when my realtor made me set my patio table and leave lemonade out for my open house, like we were out there drinking it, and suddenly the open house started and we booked out of there. Thanks for the good laugh. I added it to my saved places.
