maifleur, Thanks. I hadn't noticed the mix. If they're including plants that are invasive in an area, that would be pretty bad. If they're defining native as "anything native to the U.S", clarifying that and explaining that plants native to an area might be best to use would be helpful. Especially since there is a state search, it is confusing. I plant mostly natives, but especially in the case of groundcovers, there are times I'm looking for any plant that isn't invasive, figuring it's an improvement over what I have there now. I do take a look to make sure it's not a problem here before planting it though. I'm actually always looking for alternatives, especially since I might be able to find a suggestion for somebody I know who is considering an invasive and who I don't think I'll be able to interest in a native plant for the situation. flgargoyle ~ I keep looking at country properties in GA, NC, SC because we are sick of FL overcrowded, flatlands. I was on some website today where they were writing about people putting up sheds on their property for different rooms to their homes. DH and I do not want to do any more building, that's why I look for places that are ready to move into, small with a workshop, and hopefully a 'view'. Are you already building in SC? I saw a manufactured home on Small Spaces, Big Style that was amazing. It looked nothing like the manufactured homes that may come to mind. I think it was a metal house and most of the sides were gigantic floor to ceiling windows. It was 2 bedroom, 1000 sf and was so well designed it looked huge on the inside. I can't find it on the program's site, but it was very stylish.
