Bill, I assume you're referring to the Mira Clean #1 link above. I did a bit of checking online and it looks like there is a building place in a city not too far from where I live that sells Miracle products so I'll have to give them a call. Your link says that the product only has a shelf life of one year so it'll have to buy accordingly. I used the ST Revitalizer this weekend and it's pretty easy to use in our smallest bathroom and seemed to clean the floor well without any steaking, unpleasant or chemically smell, etc. Thanks again!

Here's something that is good for cleaning grout and I shouldn't think it would harm marble - Castile Soap. I buy the liquid Dr. Bronner's soap and mix it with water and use that for cleaning grout. I don't know why but it works very well and it's a natural product so it's pleasant to use.

I remember posting about problems with oven venting and many seemed clueless that their ovens had anything objectionable coming out. It seemed the focus was only on stovetop grease and not oven grease. I had a wall oven which vented up onto my cabinets leaving it dirty and ruining the cabinet where the steam escaped. Like you we improvised. My DH built a mini deflecter (3") which we pulled out anytime we used the oven after we redid the cabinets. I think another work around is to turn the vent on when using the oven. Just because the grease isn't going onto your backsplash, it's still being distributed somewhere in your kitchen. It's nice to know, I'm not the only one aware of the oven venting out grease.

I'm a fan of a wide strip of vertical accent tile. I like that the movement mimics a waterfall. That can be accentuated by running a rectangular tile vertically. Are you planning on using a colored glass tile? I think a gray glass accent would work. Or are you planning on a bright contemporary color like you show in your inspiration photo? I don't see that working with your traditional tiles - the 3" x 6" white subways and the hexagon floor. Also notice that they used large format tiles to modernize the look. I think you should consider using a larger subway as your field tile in order to provide more size contrast with the accent and the shower floor. Is that a 2" hex? I prefer an accent tile that relates to the field tile, providing tone-on-tone color and/or some texture, rather than contrasting starkly with it, like your inspiration photo. With white subways, something like this marble and glass mix would complement your field tile and the traditional elements you've chosen. I "borrowed" this photo from a kitchen thread. Do you have any inspiration photos of vertically tiled showers using a larger tile as the strip? I didn't see any in your Ideabook, so I think you'll need to find some. I remember one Houzz photo of a marble shower with white subways behind the shower fixtures. Doing it in reverse was unusual and very pretty.
