Cool! I've never seen a gull nest before.

What a coincidence!
Last evening I found an egg that our chicken, Henny Penny, laid. It doesn't have a shell! When I was a kid my Mom always had a flock of chickens and once in a while we would get one without a shell. Instead, it has a leathery membrane. This is the first one that I've ever seen with a tail though.

Wow, I don't have any egg pics to share! Here's Custard Candy daylily.

No egg photos but a Gentoo penguin sitting on a nest. That's the baby's back end and leg sticking out.

Jodi-

Wow...love the egg photos. Have never seen either of those before. Very cool.

What beautiful pix today everyone.....heres one of my furbaby Gravy...shes not doing so well lately....afraid she'll not be with us much longer...

Last year I saw a seagulls nest in the same area with 2 eggs in it. That's why I went back this year, to see if I could find the nest again. Here are mama and daddy gull (Greater Black Backed Gulls)....not too happy with me nearby, but I only took 3 or 4 shots of the nest and left quickly.

Awwww, sweet Gravy and her luminous eyes, bless her.

Here's a pic of an egg from my vermicomposting worms. LOL
Small yellow-to-brown balls in the bin. There's a little tail on it as well.

Aw.......Gravy is part of the KT family.
