Kraftmaid Canvas cabs

Very little to paint in kitchen, but it opens/is connected to eating area/family room/foyer so I am looking for one neutral color. Considering SW Anew Gray. The baseboard, trim and 6 pocket drs, through out the rooms will also be painted. How do you pick a color for the trim work? Should it be the same as the cabs? Or should I try something whiter since the cabs are an off white?

Our kitchen is cream colored cabinets with a glaze, walls are SW Nomadic Desert, and trim is Valspar Cream in my Coffee. This photo has some baseboards and door casings in it. Where the door casing is next to the cabinet on the left side, you can see the difference: trim is brighter, cabinets more yellow. We've painted all the trimwork in our house the same color, not something different in the kitchen.

Thanks for your advice. Your kitchen is lovely! Your colors are very similiar to mine. Planning on switching to a new color on the first floor for time being. I like how the brighter white looks in your kitchen!

I've just ordered the canvas with cocoa glazing and have gone through at least 8 different counter top choices and am starting over! I cannot find anything I like. Viatera Royal Teak looked GREAT with the cabinets, but too busy and outdated said one. Plus I have one wall of bricks which is really hard to find something to look good with that and faux colored walls?! Anyone? anyone? Nancy Jara - I was told to go for the all plywood cabinets.

Kraftmaid canvas w cocoa glaze and paint color

Hello I recently purchased a home that already has the kraftmaid canvas with Coco glaze cabinets in the kitchen. The granite is a darker color, not what I would have chosen if I had done the kitchen, but I purchased the house this way. I recently painted the room Sherwin Williams useful gray. I wanted a gray in the family room which is attached to the kitchen with no wall separating, so both rooms need to be the same color. That said, I don't like useful gray in the kitchen at all. can someone please suggest a better paint color to work with my cabinets and granite?

I'd do the left one. When you browse counters, I think the left one with your island will actually be easier to work with. Go for counter/backsplash with light sage or warm gray elements...that will be enough warmth with floor. That cream cabinet would actually be more of a problem to get things to work with it, I would fear.
