"Moni's Lunch"

Love the mist and the river, Vetaal! And Sandy, if I were you I'd keep Moni away from the daylilies. Or feed her first. :-)

I've never tried eating them. lol Pixie asiatics.

When Moni was here for the 2005 KT gathering, she went around and taste tested my lily's.....that was the first time I knew of anyone eating them.

Moni, this is about 1/2 of the varieties that Dean has throughout the yard. I don't think they have ever ALL bloomed at one time. Very colorful. In the pics, they are all different colors/varieties, but the camera (or the person taking the pics!!) doesn't always get all the colors correctly. I think he now has 3 different Burgundy colors....so pretty!

DS won a radio contest and got to take batting practice at Safeco Field (Seattle Mariners). He and 8 other listeners had a blast! They all won 4 tickets to a game, a great gift bag and the experience that not many people get. The one that hit a ball the furthest/farthest? (lol) got an upgrade to the tickets. Guess where DS, GF, Mom and Dad got to sit at the Father's Day game? 1st Row box seats, at the end of the Mariner Dugout. Yep... he hit homers! lol GF said that the other participants had a little let down when a lot younger contest winner walked into the stadium with his own equipment! LOL But she said it was so fun watching the others (30 to 55 or so) running around like 12 year olds.

Great photos everyone. I'll never be able to look at my daylilies again without thinking of Moni's nibbling on them.

Marci - I still have my Heinz pickle pin from my tour of the Heinz factory in 1958 when I was a Brownie. My favorite sign was the Clark Bar that you could see from Mount Washington.

I'd love to visit all the scenic places in today's post. They all look so relaxing.

maire-I too have a pickle pin, but I don't think mine is the origianl one. I remember the Clark building and it's sign, but alas it is gone. The North Shore has changed dramatically over the last 10 years.
My niece is getting married on Mt. Washington next year and I can't wait. It should be beautiful.
