Dee, that photo was taken by an Olympus C-740 Ultra-Zoom digital camera. It has 10x zoom and is about five years old.

I dropped and broke the one I used to take that photo so I went out and bought the next model Olympus, this time with 18x zoom. Was not at all happy with the quality photos it took in Alaska this March so I bought another (used) C-740 on eBay for $70 including shipping.
