color of the walls in Urban Grace beachy bedroom or best guess!

I wondered if anyone has any ideas what the wall color might be in this beautiful bedroom designed by Erika Powell of Urban Grace Interiors (borrowed from the blog house of turquoise)

I have already tried palladian blue, celery (RL),comfort gray (SW).Thinking quietude or rainwashed both by SW might be my next guess!

Any and all suggestions welcome!

Wow, that is pretty. I'm also curious to know. It would definitely be in the running for the master in the new house!

nutmegxo- I have the embroidered coverlet and a duvet cover whiched I alternate using for my main covering and the euro shams also in the embroidered pattern. My dust ruffle is the satin in champagne, but I will honestly tell you, I did not like the way the dust ruffles are attached. They are attached by a strange type of straight pin which were very difficult to attach. Not only that but the part that was attached to the box spring, tore in several places. The dust ruffles themselves are beautiful, but they way they are attached is not a good idea. Even velcrow would be better. The wallpaper that I was looking at was F&B and the minimum order is 3 rolls, making the price around 900.00. Way too much for one wall! I love yours and may start looking again. It really does make a statement! I love the direction you are going and the color is great!

thanks for the ideas, everyone. I'm going to drag the dresser upstairs (it weighs a ton) and find someplace to stick the old one (two tons). I do have white soft furnishings, and the windows have 2" white wood blinds that don't show up with the bright sunlight behind them, so privacy and light control aren't an issue. What style of hardware would you use on these pieces? I thought ring pulls or bails would be an improvement over the chippendale hardware. We won't be changing the bathroom tile, we're planning on downsizing in a couple of years, so I'll have to live with it until then. Used furniture doesn't sell for much unless it's vintage or antique, so I'd be most likely to find a family member who wants them. I did think about stripping the finish to give them a more antique look. right now they shout "furniture store", though they are very solid and well made. I actually have a gallon of PB, and tested it in this room, where it look turquoise for some reason. The color in the living room where the white chest currently lives is Crisp Khaki, BM 234 I think. Used to be called Golden Mist. It's gold-beige with a slight green cast. It worked better with the furniture I had before, and I'm thinking about finding a new color. but that's another post. Next house is going to be funky enough to allow for more flea market finds and whimsy than this somewhat formal house has been. I've felt limited by the need to be mindful of the preservation and resale aspects of owning this home.

That's okay about the bed! I think it's great to look at higher priced items anyway to get inspiration then find something less pricey in that same style :) I only suggested the stikwood as a way to draw in some interest and texture and visual on that tall wall but it's totally not the only option in doing so. You could possibly do a large print on the wall. That bedding color is really nice and a great accent color! one thing to remember you don't have to rush to but a room together. And have it look like you just went to a catalog and bought everything. Surround yourself with what you really love. And you will be much more pleased with the outcome.

I like your loft and your plans for it BUT with the ladder to the loft in your bedroom would seem awkward to me. Is there any way you can close off the loft in your bedroom and put the ladder going up and railing to the loft in another room? Like opening up the end wall or something? If it must be like this, can you put the head of your bed the other way so that the foot of your bed can be seen when you stand looking down from the loft? I might be tempted to do away with the loft and make it attic storage again unless you can open it up from another room. Too bad to have a nice space go to waste though.

Notice how the greenish tint within the color seems to go away under the left window, around the outlet...It looks different on my monitor than the rest of the walls, so the lighting is really a factor.

I don't know if you went to the Urban Grace site, but it has a 'contact' area for them. You may want to refer to that photo on the House of Turquoise and ask about the color.

Nan, same thought-I have QM throughout my house, mixed at 50% and the room above really looks like mine.

Keep in mind too, it clearly gets a lot of intense natural light, so whatever you are considering may very well not look quite like what you see there.

Here is my LR painted with QM. It is a southern exposure room with a large window and this was taken late in the day. Gives you an idea of what this tint will look like IRL:

Re: contacting erika powell: when she showed this beach house on her blog all the comments requested the color of the beautiful hues in this beach home and she did not respond, so I assumed she is keeping them to herself. Also house of turquoise will post a color if an interior designer offers it and again no colors listed on any of her interiors. But maybe i'll give it a try. I agree that lighting is a very big factor in this room... I do not have as much light but could always play w/ percentages if I have the color. Thanx for all the suggestions (I have quiet moments samples for my new kitchen but will now try in sample in master bedroom, and pearl gray is another good suggestion!

thanks so much for all of the suggestions
forboystoo: I was familiar w/ her paint post, but thx so much for linking - thats why I tried all the colors I listed (still wondering if its palladian blue or celery)
I will email her and ask her your question as well assuming I can find the pic you spoke of on her portfolio.
On her blog I do remember a post or comment where she indicates that because people pay for her services she is unable to give them out for free...which is why I came here for everyone's advice/thoughts!
It's funny I have samples of all the colors everyone suggested except pearl gray so I think I may be on the right track to emulating the general feel of the room...trust me, this attitude is so i do not become obsessed! Thx for all the suggestions thus far, its made me feel like I am in the ball park!
I also think the lighting is making whatever color it is look blue on the side wall and green near the light so i do believe it is a blue under normal conditions w/ a great deal of green and some gray in it!
will let you know if she writes me back!

I didnt read all the prior posts, but I think it is BM Woodlawn Blue

That was one of the blues i tested for the beadboard inside my glass cabs

I sent the message to Urban Grace Interiors and will let you know what I learn. Will try woodlawn blue, sea salt, and one I've never heard of before (thx!) bath salts in sample form in the room!

I just got through searching for a similar color for my foyer/hall and I tested BM Cashmere Grey, Alaskan Husky, Sleigh Bells and finally my choice Wickham Grey. They're all very pretty colors and look similar to the Beachy Bedroom. I imagine what this designer actually used however might look different in your home depending on your lighting......so pick what you love in your setting!

My master bedroom is painted in Restoration Hardware's Silver Sage .... perhaps that color/shade might be another candidate?

Pretty inspiration bedroom! :)

I used it in a bedroom and it has that same ethereal glow.
