help - lots of questions - insulating exterior walls

Hi,

We have a 40-year old house that does not have insulation in the exterior walls. We've heard that some companies will drill small holes in your walls and pump in insulation foam. Has anybody done this? The studs are typically 24" apart, right, so they'd have to drill holes at least every 24"? And there must be horizontal cross members in places, so they'd have to drill both near the ceiling and floor to accomodate this? Just how big are these holes?

Thanks for the input!
